(I just wanted to think up of a creative thread name for this...)
Hello! I'm Kallicat, but I mostly go by Kalli. I've been in love with Star Wars for quite a bit and, honestly, I want to be able to build a bit further on one of the characters I've created specifically for that world. I also want to try to interact with others by... making my character(s) interact with theirs?
Actually, I've been a lurker on this forum for a short while (probably around 2009-2010? Most likely to August 2010). I found out about this place when some of the characters utilized journals on livejournal. I remember being so enamored and focused on one character (I can't recall what her name is, ugh s: I recall an Octavia but who knows.) that... I don't know. It was like I finally found a place to immerse myself in a world that was formerly limited to me to the movies. I never signed up to this forum because I knew my writing style still needed dire improvement. I don't mean this in a 'ugh, I'm so horrible compared to these guys writing paragraph after paragraph of text ;____;', but as... like, finding my own art style. I wanted my writing to be uniquely 'me'. I still have a bit to go, but... I'm still vastly better than how I was in 2010.
Speaking of - I'm an artist as well! I've had a passion for art ever since I was a little girl (hah- I bet you hear that a lot nowadays, but it's true) and I started taking it seriously in middle school. With the power of my passion for writing and drawing, I'll shall create... pretty posts??? I'm also a heavy criticizer (although, for the most part, I criticize myself more than anything) and am always trying to improve. So, uh, yeah.
Random facts: I love owls and cats. I currently own a 6mo kitten called Mimi - she acts like a child most of the time.
Another random fact: I'm am absolutely a cat. Would it make purrr-fect sense to look out for cat puns? (Actually, on second thought, please don't).
