Healing Chambers of the Jedi Temple
Well, she’d gone and done it again, over-exerting herself whilst training with the droids. Rather than acknowledge her limitations, Nyx had instead tried to push beyond them. One would think she had learned by now from her repeated failure, but no. The Kiffar was stubborn.
And now her stubbornness had resulted in injury. The sparring droids had knocked her around pretty bad, their combative programming too advanced for a padawan of her level. Bruises and welts covered her, and though her garb hid most of her face, she was certain she had a split lip and bleeding nose. To be fair, she could have come out worse had a passing Jedi Knight not intervened.
They had ended the session prematurely and scolded Nyx on her recklessness. Training for betterment was one thing, but her methods were deemed foolhardy.
Now, under orders, the Kiffar was hobbling to the healers. How embarrassing. Maybe she could just sneak in and pinch some healing balm. It would certainly be better than listening to any more lectures, after all, this wouldn’t be her first visit.
Peering in through the doorway, the Kiffar found herself in luck. There was no sign of the senior healer anywhere. More than likely, they had been called away briefly, leaving the healing chamber in the hands of its few droids. No matter, Nyx could be in and out before anyone noticed…
