Whether you have used Google Fonts before, or want to try some out for the first time, here are a few that I tried myself so that you can see exactly what they look like on the forum.

My main issue with fonts is that they often look completely different when you test them vs how they appear on the Google Fonts page. There are many that look similar but produce vastly different results. This is not a complete list simply something that I will add to as I try fonts that aren't listed.

I haven't come across that yet but it's good to know. I know before Abe started the gfont coding the google fonts didn't work for awhile at all and we had to just use microsoft based fonts and those were limited.

When I try to use Google Fonts in a post, and then preview the post, my entire post disappears and I have to reload the page and delete the offending code to fix it. I feel like it's probably not supposed to do that. Any ideas?

yeah preview doesn't always work with gfonts. your post is still there, it just won't preview it is all. that's why i have a workshop thread where i post stuff sometimes to test it before posting it somewhere else. it's a known issue i believe.
