DESCRIPTION​

The I.V. Securer is one of the latest innovations from Blackwell Medtech. This portable device makes it easy to establish an I.V. line for medical therapy, especially useful in non-medical facilities or when a medical droid is unavailable. Upon startup, the device quickly calibrates its precision. Then, you scan a small area (approximately 5x5 cm) of your choice. The device scans this area and identifies the optimal vein using light and audio signals. Once the I.V. Securer is correctly positioned, a simple button press installs a complete I.V. line. It is compatible with all species possessing similar blood-transporting vessels. Additionally, if necessary, the I.V. Securer can set up a needle for an Arterial Line to draw blood.

Legal, available only for medical personell.

INTENT​

Pretty simple, I was wondering how they would apply medications, which would definetly be the case, since bacta can do a lot, but not repair anything. So this would be a quite easy / realistic solution, medical staff would apply I.V.s in that era.

RESTRICTIONS​

Only sold to medical personell, since it is simple to use, even users without any medical experience can actually set an I.V. with this.
