Name: Ignis Scintella
Species: Unknown, Human or Near-Human
Homeworld: Unknown
Gender: Female
Force Sensitive: Affirmative
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Age: Unknown, possible late-teens or early twenties
Skin: Pale
Hair: Black
Eyes: Grey
Distinguishing Marks: Tattoos- a black strip around her eyes extending from the hairline on each side, a gold design on her forehead, a gold strip down her nose, and a gold spot on her bottom lip
Strength: Ignis went through vigorous rites while among the tribal people. She is fairly strong, though she does not look it
Constitution: Ignis looks sickly, but is very healthy. She was pushed to the point of exhaustion many times until she built up stamina similar to those of trained men
Intelligence: Ignis has little formal education. Her mind, suppressed for many years, is now like a sponge.
Wisdom: Hands on experience is one of many things Ignis lacks
Charisma: Ignis is rather quiet, a trait she is unable to shake from her years of servitude. However her silence is now a cold silence, making her seem unapproachable.
Personality: Ignis is a true enigma. Part of her remains the scared, silent, obedient servant girl she used to be, beaten into submission until she was a cold shell. However, the other part of her psyche is now a grown woman, trained and confident, now the one demanding respect and obedience instead of being forced to give it. These two personalities forged together made her into someone who creates an aura of cold anger to protect herself from others. Her heart wishes to serve and help, while her mind knows to admit that is to be used by others. Therefore what most people will think of her will be a façade, few truly knowing the true Ignis.

After that she has memories of her life. Her earliest years were spent in a prison. In this prison her entire day consisted of sparse meals served by droids and beatings delivered by steel faced guards. She was on the verge of death and ready to give up after years of this. However she was removed from the prison at this point, given better meals and comfortable quarters for a month until she was completely healed and compliant. She became a servant girl for several people, ushered back and forth between them. She was treated harshly while in the presence of these “masters” but treated kindly while on the barge she was transferred on. She never knew what to expect, becoming submissive and paranoid startling like a deer at any noise.
Her reprieve came many years later when unexpectedly she was left on a supposedly uninhabited planet. She could only guess later on at why she was abandoned, left for dead in a desert. The most likely reason was that her total submissiveness became a bore to her masters.
She was in no state to try to survive on the planet she was sure would become her killer. To her surprise, when she fell asleep, she did not awake to find herself in an afterlife, but in a tent, surrounded by painted, tattooed faces. She could only stare up at them like a deer caught in a spotlight, awaiting its fate in frozen silence. But the end never came.
The Ember

They called her “The Spark” and trained her to be a warrior. She never truly understood these tribal Humans, alone on this barren world of their own will. She never asked who they were, or why they were there. She simply went along with their ways.
The Spark was trained with their children, accepted into their tribe as a child of their own. These children were strong and quick and she was expected to be just as strong and quick. So she became strong and quick.
When the time came for her to undergo the rites every member was to undergo she was sent out into the wilderness, expected to complete the trials that awaited her or die trying. She survived. As a result her face was tattooed with the marks of the tribe, just like the rest of the adults.
After her rites she underwent more training, of a different kind. The people spoke of something called the Force. They said it surrounded each of them, and was in everything. It held the universe together. They said they could manipulate the Force, bend it to do their will. They said with instruction, she could too. Under the tutelage of these radicals she learnt the ways of the mysterious Force.
Catching Fire

For the first time in her life she was free to be what she wanted, and she did not want to be a tribal warrior, especially without a war to fight. She expressed this to the people she lived with. They admitted that they kept the ship she was left in. The elders finally told her they found the planet and lived there because they wanted to be separate from their true people who lived on an adjacent world. They showed her star maps and taught her to fly. They told her she would always be welcomed on their world. And then the spark caught fire as she flew into the sky.
