After Coruscant, N4-X4 had opted to take a slightly different approach. The droid was "laying low" since its status was now known to the galaxy once again. If anyone had previously thought the BX commando droid had been destroyed on Mygeeto, they would have been surprised when they learned of the droids failed assassination attempt on a Mayor in the middle of Coruscant sky traffic. The droid had been unsuccessful in their mission thanks to the diligence of Preef Callo and his gang.

Now the droid had traveled away from the Core Worlds and moved out to the Colonies and then Inner Rim. Days of repairs and refitting allowed the commando droid to return to fighting strength. All the while it was analyzing what mistakes it had made during its previous excursion. Naxa would improve and learn from their mistakes.

The bounty for Hoola Zhalto was a fraction of the one for Mayor Haren. But this target would not have as much muscle protecting them. The price on the man's head was because it was difficult to get to the man with an effective method of elimination. Blasters would be detected and confiscated by the harsh security of the planet.

N4-X4, an ever analytical infiltrator, had a plan. The droid was not carrying any weapons on them visibly to avoid attention. The electro-staves it keeps on its person were in their normal place, attached to magnetic sheath on the droid's back. The only other weapons the machine possessed was the integrated concealed shoulder blaster and the blaster pistol in its right arm. However the droid did not plan on using either for this mission. Additionally droid was carrying a disposable commlink and a slave circuit they planned to attach to a vehicle before the day was done.

Even though Naxa was coated in scatterweave, they did not wish to test the scanning capabilities of the local customs and transit authority. The droid had used a connection from the client to get onto the planet undetected via a cargohold. The only guarantee was that the ship, a A-Z-Z3 light freighter would not be physically searched. However the droid had relied on being at minimal power and its stealthy chasis to not be discovered.

After the timer ticked by and the motionlessness continued, the droid surmised their ride had come to a complete stop at the starport of Ahto City. The only publicly available surface settlement and starport on Manaan was what made this planet an ideal hiding spot for Hoola Zhalto. It was wise to funnel and limit who could come after them. But these measures would not stop N4-X4 from reaching their target.

The droid was followed by their ID-21 seeker droid as they moved through back alleys towards the private residence of Hoola Zhalto. The droid had its light bending camouflage active which aided the machine in the twilight. Some people were getting off of work and others were leisurely going about their evening plans. None of them were aware of what was taking place in the shadows in their home city. The droid did their best to also stay out of sight from surviellance systems and alarms. They would have come and gone without anyone knowing they were involved if it could be helped.

Hoola Zhalto.

On the way to Manaan, Teeka had ensured to do as much research into the man as Naxa's shoddy holo connection had allowed. The man looked to be trouble - but unfortunately for him, Teeka really liked trouble.

Just as planned, he had headed in a different direction to the private residence of the target and clocked Naxa arriving. From his hiding place under a cardboard box (an ideal hiding place by all accounts), Teeka emerged. <Paknee ata uba janse biweoo.> the diminutive contractor joked in Huttese. He was pleased Naxa had cut him in on this job, sure - it was a small cut, but the experience of working with a more established contractor would be worth it.

At each of his hips he had a pistol, small and handy.

Over his back, his carbine, and up the sleeves of his robe, a vibro-knife each.

An assortment of thermal detonators and flash grenades dotted his bandoleer alongside a set of slicing gear.

Teeka looked for guidance from Naxa, ready to back him up as needed. However, not willing to just stand around (for he was more than just a pretty face) he darted to the side of the alley and plugged into the control panel, where he would set to work slicing the residence's security cameras.

The droid noted a bit of debris was out of place only for it to a moment later reveal itself to be the hiding place of N4-X4's contact. The Jawa was small and as advertised, they could get anywhere while keeping their deadly capabilities. However, the BX commando droid did not need the fellow bounty hunter to shoot someone.

< "Precisely"> They replied quietly with their deep robotic vocabulator, taking it as a compliment. The time it had taken was exactly the amount expected. The droid was on schedule even if the organic was impatient. Perhaps Teeka was just excited to hunt or get paid. Both were motivators for organics more often than not.

< "Continue slicing into the security system. Do not reveal yourself."> They stated the obvious but continued. < "We need to make this look like a convincing accident.">

The photocreceptors turned to look at the ID-21 seeker droid hovering over the infiltrator's shoulder. This time the direction that Naxa spoke would be directed towards the small floating machine. It spoke in binary to the droid and did so rapidly. + Go to the bedroom window and keep an eye on our target+

Even the black crab-like droid was smaller than the Jawa plus it could fly, allowing it to move swiftly around the perimeter of the resident's home. It would land on the outer wall and crawl until it was able to peak around with its multi-spectrum receptors. In his bed, half naked was their target watching the latest Holonet Broadcasts. + Target is stationary. Entertained by holonet.+ The multilimbed scout would report back remotely to its master.

"Roger!" Teeka replied, acknowledging his instruction as he gently eased open an access point to the internal maintenance shafts next to his slicing station. Next, he passed the ongoing slicing protocol over to his datapad and stowed it inside his robe.

Ducking into the maintenance shaft he took out his comlink through to Naxa "On the move!" the Jawa squeaked to his erstwhile compatriot. It was easy as pie for him to move unnoticed, he was used to doing so - indeed, almost every day of his life he needed to pass unnoticed, such was the way of things.

"We're in." he snickered down the comlink, as his datapad vibrated to inform him the slicing was complete. He sat down in the shaft, and opened the datapad again. He could see the security schematics of the residence - and grinned as he saw the windows which ran perpendicular to the water, notably the occupant's bedroom, which it turned out, was underwater.

"I can call a security check-in, default system check - will lock his door. Then we need a way to open the window in his room - bingo, drown him?" he whispered over the comm.

N4-X4 kept watch as the petite Jawa slicer crawled out of sight. Hoola Zhalto was still in his bedroom watching the holo news, ignorant of what was happening outside. The seeker droid watched from the other side of one of the few dry windows that looked in on the residency.

<"Unlock the personnel door for the garage and disable the sureillance there."> The droid said after hearing Teeka had access. They headed in their own direction until they came outside the exterior door. It would be easier for Teeka to open the service door instead of making N4-X4 slice into the panel themselves.

Provided they were given access, N4-X4 would enter the garage where Hoola Zhalto's private submersible car was located. The garage was just one level below the bedroom and was relatively close in terms of rooms. But the BX commando droid did their best to not make a sound or leave any trace.

"Proceed once I have exited the building and reactivate the cameras." the droid replied quietly over the commlink. The sound that the Jawa suggested was along the lines of what Naxa already had in its core processor. They affixed the slave circuit inside the submersible and before leaving its side, N4-X4 verified they had a connection along with control of the vehicle.

"Begin lockdown procedures." The droid signaled for Teeka to begin. The security system would flag what it took to be a threat, entirely fabricated by the slicer no doubt. Naxa could have the submersible's garage fill with water as it's supposed to do. But N4-X4 intended to have the vehicle 'crash' inside its housing and begin leaking and breach the integrity of the residency. With nowhere to go, the man upstairs would have moments before they died.

Any authorities that came later would see this as an accident if it worked out as it should. A small glitch in the home security system would lead to the death of a wanted criminal. Few would mourn the man's death while two beings would get rich from it.

Fortunately for Naxa, Teeka had already secured access to the doors and cameras of the garage. He deftly turned the cameras off, and then when instructed to, opened the doors.

He would wait for the next instruction, to begin lockdown procedures.

It was a simple command, and the system did the rest. A silent alarm went off across the residence informing its occupant of a standard security drill. A system test, nothing more.

The door to the target's private room is locked.

The man thought nothing of it. It was just a test after all, no?

Teeka snickered. This was much easier than he had anticipated!

He activated his commlink and clicked it once to inform Naxa that everything was in place, and awaited the droid's next instruction.

Of course there was still the small matter of getting away from here without being spotted, but Teeka decided to worry about that later.

The droid would return to where it had stood when Teeka left for its crawl space. They continued back towards the residential paths that were they verified was still a viable exit route. <"We should exfiltrate with haste before emergency responders make covert action impossible."> A rescue team might be the first to arrive trying to save the target if it became known what was going on. But any logs would show a security drill and could be mistaken for a glitch among a series of unfortunate events.

Once the Jawa had exited their service shaft the droid would activate the submersible. It was a floor beneath the target and they were watching the news. In fact they reached over to a nightstand and pulled a bottle of bubbly alcohol out of a mostly melted bucket of ice. This was nothing to report on for the seeker droid at this time but it would insure evidence of their presence and completion of this job if there was ever going to be any doubt. It was not like they could bring Hoola Zhalto in a plank of carbonite or his head in a cryo-crate. This was an Apex contract after all and not a traditional bounty for the Guild.

The submersible vehicle cycled up its engines, backing up in the garage before stopping just shy of hitting the back wall. The room out of the bedroom would be locked, preventing Hoola from investigating or hearing any disturbance at first. The next moment the personal transport of Hoola rocketed forward and slammed into the garage door. Instantly there were spouts of which quickly grew into a bursting leak. The water level in the garage rose quickly, allowing the submersible to rise further in the chamber.

By now the target had heard or at least felt something. They slowly got up and walked to their window that was shared with the vast ocean beyond to investigate. <"Move to the rendezvous point. I will verify the kill."> The droid directed the Jawa since they both needed to make a quiet and unseen escape.

Eventually the target would move to their door only to find it locked, unable to be opened and begin calling for help. Their commlink might reach someone willing and able to reach them normally. However the bouyant vehicle in the garage would have drifted back towards the rear of the garage once again and N4-X4 triggered it again, sending it hurtling forward at high speed to crash into the compromised garage door and making the opening greater.

There was a distinct possibility that Teeka had found a new passion in his life. Infiltration in order to commit mild acts of slight murder. He was really good at it.

Slipping back down the maintenance shaft, he scurried along and climbed up a ladder to the surface. Above the location which would soon be flooding. There, he spotted his waiting truck and skipped onto it, punching the activation gear to get them underway.

Gently the truck hovered out over the waterline, and Teeka spoke over the comm to Naxa "Clear." he kept the comms short, and snappy, getting the mission-critical information across.

With that done, he slammed up to full speed, and got moving to the exfil point.

The last moments of Hoola Zhalto would be agonizing. The enemy he scorned might even pay a bonus with the added recording of his death throes. The smuggler drowned, eventually becoming still and allowing the ID-21 seeker droid to confirm his passing. The small witness would covertly return to its master without leaving a trace.

The commando droid and their Jawa counter part left the residential section of the city behind. The two of them needed to be nowhere near the crime scene when the authorities eventually fished the cadaver out of the water. They would identify him later that day and news would report about the "accident" while N4-X4 and Teeka were already collecting on the contract.
