seven Mercenaries hired to defend a mining town from the Death trooper virus or something if i'm not allowed to do that.
Yeah i know its very basic.

I'd tone it down to like 3-4 max.

Seven players is going to seriously suffer, as you'll find yourself losing some players for various reasons (to include some getting lost in it) and not everyone will post at the same rate. The ideal size, in my experience, has been two, maybe three players in a thread.

Sounds like a pretty cool idea to me! Like Solairs and Cassanove said, seven in a thread could really suffer. I'd say three to four being the most you should aim for. That said, if you really want seven people to stick tot he Seven Samurai feel, then maybe a couple of threads could work? So you have your seven people, but split them into two or three teams, defending slightly different places/against different threats, with a person to npc for each?

Whatever you end up doing, it sounds good, and I'd like to get involved!

Yeah i thaught of that but the book is set on a ship an inclosed space. Any way maybee the survivours have found the anti virus that was easaly discoverd in the book as well.
It dosne even have to be Death troopers maybee a sort of Crossed virus or a 28 days later Rage virus type thing.

If i can start two threads one looking for the source of the virus to neutralise it and one defending the survivors that sounds cool.

Some people have a natural immunity to it. It's been confirmed that some Humans do, unknown if other species have that capability. As I understand, immunity is to the airborne form only.
