Location: ISB Void, Imperial 'Blacksite'
A Pugio class frigate hung in the darkness of space. Technically the ship did not exist; it could not be found on any imperial records, and its crew had no history within the Imperial Armed Forces; they had simply started work, fully trained and equipped - no questions asked. But, that was hardly a surprise when the vessel was to play host to the Overseer of the Imperial Cipher Program.
The Void rarely appeared outside of deepspace, and it was here that the Overseer now found himself spending the vast majority of his time. Galen Terco had risen through the ranks quickly, working in the covert operations and counterintelligence branch of the ISB since he left the academy. He had a track record of excellent performance - a track record that only existed these days in the highest echelons of the Imperial Command structure, accessible to the Council itself.
Sat in the 'Command Room' of the vessel, he had passed through more security checks than he cared to remember and now was positioned at the head of a round table in a dark room. A holographic projector stood in the middle of the table, and arrangements had been made for the Ciphers to appear on encrypted holoprojection at their 'seats' if they wished to do so instead of coming along in person.
"We shall dispense with the small talk, and get directly to the business at hand." he began, as the doors to the room sealed and a cybersecurity net was cast over the proceedings "It has been a challenging few months for the Empire, but with the successful appointment of the new Emporer, and the ejection of dissenting rogue elements, we can return to our core focus." Galen proceeded onto the agenda for the meeting.
"Your sector and mission reports, if you please." he instructed, opening the discussion to the broader gathering.
