Imperial Sovereign Protector Armor
Imperial Sovereign Protector Armor is designed for the express use of the Royal Guard of the Imperial Republica. It was designed in the days of Andraste's reign and each of the 100 suits is hand-crafted by artisans in the Imperial Palace. The majority of the suit is made from plasteel, however, the gauntlets are made of phrik alloy to best turn aside the blade of angry Sith seeking to take the position of Emperor or Empress for themselves. This armor covers all the most vital portions of the wearer's body, and is designed to evoke the days of the ancient Sith. While most choose to keep their armor in its base form, some have added red capes for when they serve in the field.
LEGALITY
It is illegal for any outside the Imperial Sovereign Protectors to wear this armor as it denotes a position of trust and security clearance. In addition it allows for concealed weaponry and hides the face.
INTENT
The intent of this armor is to provide a basic medium armor for the Royal Guards of the Imperial Sovereign Protectors, a subset of the Imperial Republica which lacks access to the Force, but wishes to be sworn to the utmost loyalty to the Imperial Throne. Ultimately the biggest intent is to provide an iconic armor for a royal guardian and shock trooper.

Functions
Function 1: Environment Suit
- While it is not rated for extended exposure to extreme hazards, this body suit (when combined with an enclosed helmet) can protect the wearers body from the effects of environmental and weaponized toxins and similar hazards for up to 5 posting rounds.
- For the unusually paranoid, this helmet function can scramble a person's voice to unintelligible garbage, while allowing commlink conversations to continue as normal. Alternatively, it can be used to "digitize" a voice into a deep bass tone.
- Concealed blades are typically 4-6 inches in length and lock into place once extended. They are almost always placed along the fore-arm or boot. They are no substitute for true combat knives as the locking mechanism can break under strong impacts. Still, some people enjoy them as a helpful backup.
