Aka send me a PM, I look it over, if it's reasonable I approve and add it to the list, everyone has a party. Most of these should be fine, but there's a few that jump out at me that might need some site-based tweaks.
Since I'm exhausted from running around organizing uni all morning, I'll keep it brief: Basically the reason I'm asking for these species is so we can just do a quick look at species on a case-by-case basis, not only to see what people are actually using, but also so we can do a quick once-over of the species to ensure that they're balanced and discuss tweaking some of the natural stats (only if necessary). This is basically just for the ease of mind of the staff so we know that every species has been looked at, rather than doing a disallowed list, where there's a weird grey area we create if we accidentally overlook a species, then it's technically approved for use, even if it's broken. Basically by switching from a disallowed to an allowed list, we're just making sure that there are fewer accidental loopholes.
And before you ask - yes, if you decide you want to play a species that isn't on the list we publish, you'll be able to apply for that species to be approved - and in about 95% of all cases it will be. In fact most of the species referenced here should be fine to use - there's only two or three that I want to talk about in terms of minor tweaks or clarification on abilities from a 'site perspective', but I'll make a post about that a bit later.
Move over, Adam. Weiss is here. Watch for my series premier episode, Weiss Ruins Star Wars (More Than He Already Has).Weiss ruins everything.
So I can't say that the Lorell Raiders were overthrown by "some sort of event" 4000 BBY and that the Lorell Raiders are the reason that Hapans are supposedly beautiful and ruled by women? Can I... at least say that its a national myth?Probably not, since we're throwing most (if not all) historic information out since it not longer fits with the new setting.
Yes, but that's as detailed as you can go with it, i.e. "The Loreli Raiders were overthrown several thousand years ago, and they rea the reason that Hapans are supposedly beautiful and ruled by women." You shouldn't flesh it out anymore than that. That's the Lucasfilm approach to things. For example, Rakata Prime is a canon planet. That's all we know about it though: it's a canon planet. Its existence doesn't canonize the Infinite Empire, KOTOR, or anything like that.So I can't say that the Lorell Raiders were overthrown by "some sort of event" 4000 BBY and that the Lorell Raiders are the reason that Hapans are supposedly beautiful and ruled by women?
