The all wet administration sold two technical prototypes they shouldn't have. They are not telling details, but Czerka wants them back. Repossess the vehicles from one of Coruscant's lower level swoop gangs.

sgsWK2M.jpg

The hired guns idled outside the Czerka administrator's office. As drinks were served, the young attractive Twilek waitress suddenly sat beside the trio, starring at Solus. "We should do some spice together," she said. "Why don't you get a hit for me?"

The office door opened and the administrator's already familiar assistant stepped out. He motioned his guests to get inside. "Good evening! The time has come, so let me introduce you Administrator Bazelia!"

The middle aged lady stood up and offered handshakes. "Hey! Nice to meet all of you." She looked like her face was getting swollen from smiling. "I am glad to be working with professionals," inherently she looked at Jay. "Every single employee is handpicked here." The Twilek brought inside documents and confidentiality agreements. "This is just formality, and the intel we gathered that you can work with. As far as I know, I am the first person to tell you what we would like to see. Professional, clean work."

Bazelia briefly examined the waitress who dropped her pen. "Wait outside," she paused until she shuffled out. "We got two vehicles that we need to get back immediately. The buyers were shady figures from the lower levels, and we can't afford them to abuse our Czerka tech. Inside the papers you can find everything."

Jay didn't sign the contract. Perhaps they had guessed who he was, but if things turn out bad, his name on some papers won't do anything good. "Seven thousand credits for this and the senator's assassination."

Cardinal impatiently waited outside the Czerka official's office. Alongside him was Jayscreec, an Imperial Agent. Cardinal had worked with the Sith Empire before, and he had noticed the Empire's rising. Cardinal was supposed to remain neutral in the major conflict between the Mandalorians and Sith Empire, and he had for some time, but now was the time when Cardinal needed to show his true colors. Both men sat at a table in a reception area, when a Twilek waitress approached them. "A hit of spice? I'll do you one better, why don't you come work for me? I got ton's of spice." Every chance he got, Cardinal attempted to recruit people, and this pretty waitress could serve a plenty roles.

As Cardinal sized her up, and waited for her reply, the administrator's door opened. Cardinal looked up to the assistant, and stood up giving his contact card to the waitress. "
And off we go!" The duo walked into the admin's office. "Nice to meet you too." Cardinal said as he participated in the hand shaking. "And indeed professionals, you did right calling us. No one could be better for this situation."

Once the formalities were set aside, the assistant brought forth confidential documents, surely containing Czerka top secret information. Cardinal licked his lips and greedily looked at the documents as if they were a extravagant delicacy. There was only one thing that Cardinal wanted in the galaxy, well three to be exact: Money, Power, and most of all information. "
Nice looking things you got there." Cardinal said, referring to the documents of course, but the assistant looked ashamed as if Cardinal referred to a body part. Cardinal heard the lady tell the waitress to stay outside, Cardinal didn't even notice the girl follow them in. Obviously the Twilek was eager to partake in whatever it was Cardinal had.

Cardinal returned his gaze to the documents, "
We get to look at those?" Apparently the lady actually heard him, as Cardinal and Jay were given the papers. Cardinal listened to their objectives. Two vehicles? Thats new. Cardinal had done these sorts of jobs, but most of the objects being needed to get back were drugs, weapons, or slaves. Never vehicles. "So uh, how are we supposed to transport these lovely vehicles back to you? We get to take em for a spin? Or load them on a ship?"

The duo were handed contracts that they were supposed to sign. Cardinal noticed Jay not signing the docs, most likely because of his affiliation with the Empire. Cardinal shrugged his shoulders, he signed everything. Best to get his name out to the galaxy anyways. He was practically advertising himself.
7 thousand credits, sound dandy. Lets get those vehicles and kill that man." Usually, Cardinal would have someone do the work for him, in his name, but not only did Cardinal have to get close with the Sith Empire, Czerka could prove to become a benefiting ally.

Kassanda sat in the back of the room. She apparently arrived before the others were brought into the office. She wasn’t in her normal wear. She was dressed in her dark modified Sith assassin armor. The helmet was dawn as to mask her features. The full helmet was onyx colored with a small blue symbol on the side, a circle with what appeared to be an ‘X’ through it. Leaning against the wall, she rested with her arms crossed as the two men entered the room. One an Imperial Agent for sure, she could spot the agents from a parsec away. The other didn’t look imperial, he talked too much to be an Imperial.

Paused a moment before moving forward, she approached as what appeared to be the negotiation around the terms of the job. “My price is 10000 credits transferred to the normal location, and 1000 to the broker that connected the meeting.” She rolled her shoulders back. A large vibroblade remained sheathed across her back. A small dagger rested all the belt just above her lower back. She pulled a strap, that seem to always come loose, taught to secure the plated armguard. The armor looked secure around the chest and the lower armor. You could almost guess that it was more designed for stealth and movement than protection.

The price appeared high but Corser had done some jobs for Czerka and they appreciated her ‘Professionalism’. “Ahh, Corser, I was wondering when you were going to join the conversation.” The lady issuing the orders present increased an already enlarged smile. “Of course, you will get what you asked for.” The woman turned her attention back to Jay and Cardinal. “And 7000 for each of you.” She smirked slightly before returning to the smile.

Eleven thousand, just like that, out of the window? The vehicles and the senator neither worth that much, unless there's something in the bigger picture Jay cannot see. It is more likely she's getting scammed. The administrator didn't even negotiate, raise over one hundred and fifty percent doesn't just happen. Jay glanced at Kassanda suspiciously. "Fine by me," he said as he nudged the Cardinal, winking at him.

Jay took the group to the lower levels with a turbolift authorized for Imperials only.
"I looked over the documents," he said. "We are dealing with some kind of swoop gang. Size of twenty members, small turf of four blocks, one garage which I suppose is their clubhouse."

Being an ex-con himself, Jay knew how to talk with these people, but there was someone better than him.
"Cardinal, I am pretty sure you could cut a deal with them. What do you two think of luring them out with their bikes to race, or--" Jay paused for a second. "Purchase them?"

Cardinal laughed when some woman joined the group and mentioned her price of Eleven thousand. She even threatened with her vibroblade. Rookie? Cardinal thought. No one threatened Czerka and got away with it. He'd have to keep a close eye on that one then. The imperial was silent, like all of his type. Cardinal didn't even know why the job was worth eleven thousand credits. Didn't matter though, if they were naming prices he could of just said a million credits and gotten away with it. Maybe threaten with his lightsaber just for show. Cardinal smirked.

"
Ho Ho Ho. Eleven Thousand. Looks like drinks' on you then." Cardinal smiled at Jay as he nudged him, apparently he wasn't the only one that thought Eleven thousand was a bit much. Cardinal and Kas followed Jay down the lower levels in a turbolift specifically authorized only for Imperials. "Huh, and I thought the Imps would have a much fancier lift. Too bad, we should've taken mine." Cardinal knew the Empire needed the resources to allocate towards their war with the Mandalorians and the Rebels.

Cardinal nodded to Jay, "
Small swoop gang? Sounds petty. I'm sure they'll know of me. After this is over, i call dibs on taking over their club." The lift arrived at their destination, and the group stepped out. Cardinal had thought of a plan to get the bikes. His plan mostly involved making a call, and alot of death. Jay's plan sounded much better. "Yeah buying the bikes sounds way better than what i thought. Heck i could even buy their garage if i wanted to. Let me get out my checkbook." After a few minutes of walking around, they made it to the gang's territory. Cardinal cracked his knuckles and unhooked his lightsaber, tossing it from hand to hand. The gang members were scattered loosely around the warehouse talking amongst themselfs. the bikes were parked outside.

@Ediwa @Judis

Shall we start dicing if i kill them or just buy the bikes?

After receiving confirmation from the Czerka, Kass stood and watched the other’s response. They seem off-put by my price, Czerka agreed so that was enough for Kass pushed the thought to the side and focused on the mission at hand. She followed the group into the lift. She leaned against the wall and listened to the two humans discussing the mission. The imp had an interesting idea of purchasing the bike, it was sound but, she feared that might have been to easy of a solution. Hence, the reason behind Czerka hiring us. Unsure of the other person, he seems to like to talk a lot. He had a bravado about him as he wanted people to know who he was. Kass had experienced a few of these type in her times in the underworld. However, this one seemed to be a man of means. She let the thought stirred.

As the doors lift opened, Corser has begun scanning the area. Trekking the lower levels awaken memories in Kass of her time a young teen scrapping for food on the streets. The memories acted as a distraction as we arrived at the gang’s territory. Disappointed at her lack of the observations as the memories flooded her head, she flipped the switch in her head that pulled her into mission mode. It was like she shifted into the other person.

Cardinal unhooked a lightsaber from his belt and tossed from hand to hand as if it was a toy. Kass scanned the room as the gang members started to move around the warehouse. She didn’t grab her sword just yet but was ready to act if the swoop gang moved. “Buying might be a better option” Kass scanned the rafters and found more members preparing weapons. “Unless you can deflect blaster fire with that thing?” She pulled a small throwing dagger from a point on the armor.

Jay cleared his throat. "We are not actually buying them. Just pretend we buy it, then take them."

As approaching the swoop garage, many local eyes followed the strangers. Some gang members started catcalling Kassanda.
"Hey, that's hot! You single?!" They tried to get the men's attention too. "Ten credits to walk around here!" Jay handled it with a scoff. "Ignore them. We are almost there."

Gangs were always like that. If the team stood around too long, they would be approached.

"Remember Cardinal, cut a deal and we'll scam them."

Cardinal nodded to Jay, "Got it." The group approached the gang, and the gangsters made comments about Kas. Cardinal smirked as he wondered how she would react. Cardinal continued tossing his saber from hand to hand, but caught it in his right hand when he was a few feet from the nearest gang member. "So, i was just crossing by your wonderful little association and I couldn't help but notice your wonderful rides you got there. Are they for sale?"

This wouldn’t be the first time Kas was harassed, she ignored the gang members comments. She held the handle of the throwing knife with the blade along her forearm. She was prepared to act if the gang made a move. Jay mentioned a plan to buy the bikes but take them last minute. It had been a while since Kass had driven a swoop bike, but she felt that it would come back to her. Cardinal began to negotiate with the members. Kass scanned around to make sure no surprises were sneaking up. She crossed her arms and listened to the human.

Rolled for Cardinal about selling the bikes. (Barely a success.)

It looked like they had a chance at buying. The gang probably didn't know the value, or had no clue about Czerka's intentions to be protective enough. Or just Cardinal knew his way around words. "Let's do this partners," Jay said. "Rendezvous at the turbolift, it's big enough for three of us."

At the purchase they seriously presented the bikes.
"Looks great," Jay said as he approached the speeder. "Exactly what I wanted. Let us take it for a spin, then we'll decide all right?" Without waiting for the swoop-gang's approval, he hopped on and released the breaks. In a second Jay was speeding away throughout the lower levels.

He looked back to see if his partners managed to do the same or need any help.

Cardinal smiled as one of the gang members nodded, replying the bikes were indeed for sale. Cardinal put his saber away, hoping he wouldn't need it for now. He stood still as Jay approached one of the speeders, got on it, and sped off. "Well uh, i'm sure he'll be back." As soon as Jay sped off, the men shouted in surprise and some of them ran off to get him. The others took out their blasters and aimed them at Cardinal and Kas. Cardinal raised one hand in the air, the other slowly and cautiously guiding to his saber. With his hand on his saber, Cardinal whispered to Kas, "Get ready, we're gonna have to fight our way out of here." Cardinal then raised his other hand in the air, holding the saber in his hand, "We can talk fellas."

Kass was still prepared to attack near biker. She tossed her knife in the direction of the closest member. She misjudged the throw and it veered off to the side. The member reacted and shot a volley of bolts at the armor human. The bolt hit a protected part of the chest and helmet. The force of it sent Kass to the ground. She tucked and rolled. Stopping for a moment, she grabbed the now sore point in her armor. She unlatched the sword from its sheath and prepared another attack. Kass failed attempted at an attack sent the gang members on alert and they took aim at the grounded. “Now Cardi,” She yelled in his direction.

While Jay escaped the rest of the team got attacked by the gang. Their trick was probably too obvious to be pulled three times. It's a miracle it even worked once.

As Jay looked over his shoulder he noticed somebody was chasing him. On the run he pulled out his blaster pistol and quickly turned around. Speeding towards the gang member he fired a couple shots, enough to disorient him, so he would loose control of his bike. Without wasting time then he went back to the original scene, approaching the most advantageous direction.

From proper cover Jay opened fire with his Gladius Blaster Rifle at the crowd.
"I've got your back," he used his radio. "Just grab the speeders and dip! Go! Go! Go!" The gang got surprised. They never expected thieves engaging on a military scale for a couple bikes.

The scattered criminals were unorganized. At this point everybody wanted to make it out alive. Every man for himself.

Let the battle begin. Cardinal nodded to Kas and watched as she threw her knife thingy at one of the bikers. The attack failed and the defender responded by rapidly shooting at Kas, the bolts throwing her to the ground. "Well we're off to a great start."

At that moment, Cardinal heard a loud sound as Jay came flying back, showing into the crowd. Cardinal had to act fast. Cardinal wasn't a Jedi, nor was he a Sith, but he had used his stolen lightsaber before. Cardinal put his hands down and ignited his saber, the bright red energy reflecting nicely off the gang's armor. Cardinal watched as the men reacted nervously. "
D-Dude, he's a Sith. I've heard of them, lets get out of here!" One of the members said. They all agreed and ran away. Cardinal kept his blade activated for a few moments to make sure they didn't come back, then put his saber away.

"
Sweet, so I think we're done here. Kass you ok?" Cardinal helped her up, before walking to one of the bikes smiling.

Rubbing her hand over the wound armor, she would be okay, but the armor damage. Her ego was more wounded than the physical form. Using her hand, the armored human pushed herself from the ground and on to her feet. “I should be okay.” She paused a moment. “My ego maybe not so much, but I guess that comes with the business.” She moved towards one of the bikes not occupied by the Crime Boss. “Nice blade, by the way.” She threw a leg over the seat, flipped a few switches and revved the engines. “This isn’t over, I bet they are getting reinforcements.” Kass had experiences with street gangs, they are normally more organized than people give credit for, special signals, enlisting spies, broader monitoring, and law enforcement detection. They most likely knew we were here before we knew where they were.

A few bikes took the turn sharply. “It’s go time.” Revving the engines again, she released the breaks and the speeder blasted to life. Navigating the street to catch up with Jay, she felt the bike respond to her controls.

With the three Technicals the team finally returned safely to the turbolift. They handed them over to a group of Czerka employees. "The administrator is delighted," their delegation said. "She said once you finished each task you will be compensated, so heads up. See you once you handled the senator." They took the vehicles and left.

"Looks like we are not important enough to meet her greatness face to face," Jay scoffed, mocking the administrator. "Let's get the other thing done too, the sooner we finish the better."

Jay showed his device's screen to Kassanda and Cardinal. A red blip appeared at the turbolift's location which slowly started moving.

"I bugged my bike. No one will screw with us."
