Initiates are actually masters (Jainee's training)

[Moriarty]

Jainee watched the motions and repeated them several times in her head. She saw the way her master swung the blade, and calculated them into her own method. She didn't like holding her lightsaber the normal way though. To her, the reverse grip was more effective in blocking oncoming attacks. She also found her swings to be stronger when she performed the offensive in reverse grip.

"So, like this, right?" She asked. She then swung her arm up and brought it down quickly with the blade slashing in front of her, then sliced horizontally, and slashed upward. She returned to her original position, but shifted her feet so that her blade arm was forward.

 

[GABA]

"Goods, nowing you wanting to strikes the vulnerable areas, arms, legs, head. Trying ons me." she said moving to in front of her padawan, her blade ready to defend against Jainee's strikes.

 

[Moriarty]

Jainee readied herself, assuming an offensive stance. She gripped her lightsaber tightly and let the force flow through her body. Then, she swung. If everything went as she planned, her lightsaber would strike at her masters' left arm first. Once blocked, she would spin around at a safe distance and make an attempt to trick her master, falsely swinging at her right arm and the faking down to her right leg. Once that manuever was blocked, if it was, she would force jump back at a distance far enough away to perform a move she'd studied and read about that was dangerous and high on the offensive.

She crouched down, balancing on her left arm. She extended her blade arm out and gripped her lightsaber tightly. The force began to power her legs, making the tattoo on her thigh light up greatly. She held high focus, realizing this was her strongest force power yet.

Then, she dashed forward, letting the force boost her movements extremely, or at least compared to when she first used force speed. Once she reached her master, she swung diagonally from her right hip to her left shoulder, boosting the strike with an added force push effect. If her master did not block in time, Jainee would stop herself right before the blade hit her skin. If her master did block, the force push would've knocked her masters' lightsaber out of her hand if it was strong enough and only if it was strong enough.

With two hands holding her own lightsaber, Rehni blocked her padawan's first attack, she went to block her right, but the Force alerted her of the swing to her leg. Rehni jumped back, missing the blade to the leg. She was glad her padawan knew how to feint.

The Knight rised from her crouch as her padawan jumped back, Rehni begun feeling the Force to see what her student was going to do, it was quite obvious she was not still on practice with simple attacks. Rehni frowned, she found the right scenario. The world slowed down around Rehni as she watched her padawan come. The Knight leaped out of the way, over her padawan's head, and landed behind Jainee.

She shot a Force push to Jainee's knees to knock her over.

 

[Moriarty]

Jainee had a look of surprise as her master jumped over her, avoiding the attack. She knew it was obvious she wasn't strong or fast enough to be able to defeat a knight or master in a duel, but she hoped she might've gotten something of an edge. She quickly did a spinning jump over the wave of force energy she felt coming for her knees and landed safely as it passed under her. She summed up all the strength she could in the force, focusing it into raw energy.

She could feel the immense power building in her body in a matter of milliseconds. The strength was like nothing she had ever felt before in her life. The tattoo on her thigh once again lit up like a holoprojector, but her eyes began to glow with the same light as well. Then, in a second, she released the energy in the form of a blast that created a sphere around her entire body, which would push any threats away from her. She knew it wouldn't be as strong as most of the other Jedi in the temple, but it was an amazing feat for herself in her own mind.

She landed back on the ground, out of breath and slightly weary, but wouldn't give up, none-the-less. She decided to engage in a new stance, something out of instinct felt right. She put her left foot directly forward and held the blade so it was pointed at her master. It rested near her head, merely inches away from it. Her other hand was held out in front of her, as if to aim a javelin or some other primitive weapon. She then regained her breath, and readied herself for the next engagement.

Rehni was surprised by Jainee's connection, with this strong of a connection of the Force, her padawan will surely well rise in ranks within the Order and be a powerful warrior herself. However, this much power, in this short of time was going to wear out her student, she didn't want Jainee to spend a month on medical leave because she was over powering her body.

The Knight watched her padawan release her energy, her own protection bubble went up around her, lightsaber deactivated to hold up the force shield.

"Jainee, enoughs." commanded the Knight, "Too muching willing hurt your body. Ising whys we ising starting with simple parrying padawan. Following my instructions so you willing notting get hurt." Rehni explained, she had never used a serious tone with a padawan before, "I do notting wanting you ins the medical ward fors months recovering." she replied.

 

[Moriarty]

Jainee bowed in respect and to confirm her instructions. "I will obey, master," she said in a submissive tone. "However, were you pleased with my performance?" She asked. She was curious to know how she did in the duel. She felt she had much learning to do, but had given herself a good start. She would be more mindful on how much physical endurance her body needed and could take, though. She didn't want to get killed in her fist battle with a dark Jedi.

 

[GABA]

"You did goods, however, you needing to paces yourself." she explained, "Too muching all at once canning tires you, then what woulding you do whens you canning notting defend against your enemy?" explained Rehni; she moved around Jainee, "Djem So ising abouting overpowering your opponent. You keeping pressing ons, too muching jumping arounds defeats the purposes of Djem So. Understands?" she asked, "Pressing ons withing your blade, overwhelming your opponent withs the strengths ofing the Force behind your blows."

Rehni ignited her lightsaber, "Ready? Letting us trys again."

 

[Moriarty]

Jainee nodded as she assumed her first stance once again. She had regenerated her strength once again, and was ready for another spar. She felt a bit confident this time, but didn't want to get too confident. She wanted to do exactly as she was told; overpower with force enhanced saber strikes. She concentrated and focused the force that was flowing through her body.

Once her master was ready, she would make the first strike. She felt she had a benefit of the way she held her saber, by it being reverse grip. She felt her advantage was that her opponent wouldn't be able to see her next movement until she made the strike, unless, of course, the opponent could read muscle movements. The other advantage to that was the unique ability to defend. It was near effortless to swing the blade in a defensive position.

Her first strike would be to feint a swing at the arm, by using deceiving muscle gesters. To the opponent, it would appear she was going to strike at the arm, but then once the opponent had the blade up to block as she began the swing, she wouldn't rise it all the way like they would've thought, but finished the swing at the left thigh. Unless her opponent was highly skilled in recognizing muscle gesters, she would have an advantage.

After that, as she was sure the move would be blocked, she make a strike at the waist with an added force push to enhance the strength of the swing. She would hit with enough force to knock her masters' blade out of her hand, and force push her back and then dash after her with another force enhanced strike. She wanted to make sure she would win this spar and make her master proud.

Rehni held her blade ready for her padawan's strikes, she watched the blade and felt it in the Force. She shifted her body, stepping to the side, her blade then meeting Jainee's below the waist. The knight pushed off giving herself some space but her padawan followed her slashing at her waist. The knight bend backwards, letting her agility take her defense. She flipped backwards and landed back on her feet. this what she wanted to see from her padawan.

The knight pushed off the ground and sprinted towards Jainee, her movements aided by the Force, her blade swung down from shoulder to waist.

 

[Moriarty]

Jainee blocked with force enhanced speed, blocking the blade as it came down on her. What she wasn't expecting, though, was the overpowering strength behind the blow. This was strong, and she was sure this was what her master wanted her to see. She was surprised by the force of the impact of the blades, but then shoved her masters' blade away from her. Knowing now the technique and power she had to use, she jumped back to a safe distance away.

This time, she would use the technique she was just shown. She crouched, but immediately sprang forward in a dash. She would strike differently this time, though. She wouldn't strike exactly how her master did, but instead swinging from waist to shoulder due to the way she held her blade. The strike would be more powerful as it had more momentum behind it, and the force as well to add to the strike.

 

[GABA]

Rehni met her padawan's blade coming down upon it, it required to use two hands to keep a grip on the hilt of her blade, she had to let her blade move with Jainee's letting it slide up hers and then break away, "Goods Jainee." she replied stepping back, "Keeping focus, staying unpredictables." she replied; Rehni released an overhead strike at Jainee starting it up again.

 

[Moriarty]

Jainee saw the overhead strike, and parried it with a force enhanced block/strike of her own to repel the blade. She would've said thank you to her master, but her next strike gave her little time for that. She made sure each of her next strikes were just as powerful, striking at her masters' arms and legs with powerful blows. Each one was random and unpredictable as well, having no fluid motion to connect the strikes. They were just flurries. She wanted to make sure her strikes were unpredictable, yet holding the same amount of overpowering strength and were targeted at the specified points.

Finally, after she was done attempting to wear her opponent out, she would jump back and make another attempt like she did from her previous match which she was so horribly defeated on, but would change it and become even more unpredictable. She would include a jump over her opponent and strike from behind, also putting in adequate enough force to knock her masters' saber from her hands should she block. She was also prepared to block and strike should her master see her motive, still putting enough strength behind the blows.

Rehni was having a hard time keeping up with her padawan and had to revert to her own saber style of choice: Ataru. She begun jumping and spinning with her blade to keep up with Jainee as well as not submerging herself too far in the Force so she may help fix any mistakes with Jainee's blade work.

But Rehni kept moving but then there was a stir in the Force, Rehni stopped, her blade arm froze and her free hand held Jainee's blade in a Force grip to prevent a nasty burn from a lightsaber nick; she deactivated her blade, "Goods padawan." she deactivated her own blade and clipped it back to her belt, "Goods." she nodded satisfied with her student's progress.

"You having understanding of Djem So and having proved it too me. You ising to making a great warrior amonging the Order." she walked passed Jainee and took a seat in the middle of the room gesturing for the padawan to do the same.

 

[Moriarty]

Jainee bowed her head in respect and gratitude and followed her master. She was glad she got the basics of Djem So under way, and was starting to make good use of it. She felt she would go far in the order as a Jedi guardian. She took a seat directly across from her master, folding her legs so that she sat cross legged.

"I have a question, master, is it true the masters of the order can peer into the future through meditation?" Jainee asked, wondering if their power was true. She hadn't heard other Jedi speak of their profound abilities so far.

 

[GABA]

Rehni listened and thought, "Yes, it ising true. I personally do notting know any Masters who do, but I ams sures there ising some. It ising notting a common gift for Jedi to having." she explained to Jainee.

 

[Moriarty]

"What would it take for a Jedi to acquire this power?" Jainee asked. She had always wanted to peer into her own future, simply to see where her decisions would take her. She was curious to see the places she would go and the people she would meet. However, she did fear the unknown. She didn't know what to expect from the future.

 

[GABA]

"Ifing the Force wills it, then so be it." replied Rehni thinking on the subject, "It ising something ofing natural talent, I having Farsight," said the Knight, trying to explain how it works to Jainee, "Somethings that hasing beens withing me all my life. Howevers, when some Jedi spending long periods of frequent meditation, thens sometimes they mays getting a Force Vision." Rehni frowned in thought, "But you should notting worry abouting the future, unstable, always moving, it ising nothing you canning doing about it. You should keeping your minds ins the present, the living force. Whying doing you asks?"

 

[Moriarty]

"It was actually because I was curious of what my future held," Jainee said. "I wanted to know why I was the only one of my kind born the way I am, why my fur coat is blue while most are red, and why I have these strange tattoos I was born with that glow when the force fills my being. I want to know what sort of purpose these things would have, and how I'm to aid the order in my future"

 

[GABA]

"Wells, my padawan, it sounding likes you needing to going on a personal mission. Once you ising a Knight, you may leave and doing such things. But be patients, who you ising, it willing comes." reassured Rehni understanding her padawans concerns for her own self, "You willing knowing as time comes, you ising still young, lots ofing time to figure things out."
