Insert Quotes

I have a few quotes that I'd like to insert into posts, but whenever I click on the "insert quotes" button, all I get is a never-ending loading icon in the top right corner of the screen. Is their an explanation for this? can it be fixed?

Try clicking on it again after the loading icon, should work. Sometimes it just takes a a click or two on the preview and insert quote buttons to make it work.

That didn't really do anything, the loading icon stays there forever, even if i click the button several times

Odd, last time I faced this problem this worked for me. Maybe things are getting updated on the site and that might be causing this. Let's see what Abe says.

I have been experimenting around the forums and I haven't run into any issue with quotes. Perhaps it has to do with what you were trying to quote and were you were trying to insert the quote. As Wit pointed out it might take a click or two and you might have to refresh the page, but it has always worked for me.

Do you mind linking the posts your were trying to quote and the thread you were trying to insert the quotes in?

I think I have located the issue and I will work on resolving it asap. In the meantime, I suggest your insert the quote in another thread (one where it works) and C&P the code into the thread you were initially trying to insert the quote. I know it is a hassle, but it will allow you to do what you want!
