“Ha! You know, it won’t be a secret mission if I told you Norm” said Lamb, as she attempted to separate her veggies. “I hate it when my food touches. Your food looks good Norm” she paused for a second then added “the chef did well with our food.” Haloburner put her fork back down and continued “to be fair Norm, I am here for a few days on business. My fashion company is in need of fine feathers. I am here to meet with one of my suppliers of fine feathers for my company.”

Grant it she just lied to Norm she wasn’t about to give her identity away to the wrong person. Who knows which side Norm was on? She will continue to feed him lies until such time as Norm’s identity is confirmed. Hopefully the mention on feathers will help bring clarity as to which side he is on. Judging from what Lamb has witnessed so far, Norm is the contact she was sent to, but time will tell.

Now thoroughly annoyed by the two men over at the other table, Lamb looked straight up- into Norm’s steel-blue eyes and said “those two fellows over at the other table are beginning to get pretty annoying. They’ve been recording our conversation since that scrawny looking one eyed fellow got his drink.” The Padawan’s second glass of Membrosia arrived, but the homely looking waitress completely forgot Norm’s Blue Milk. Since Norm was chewing and therefore couldn’t speak, Haloburner quickly reminded the waitress about his Blue Milk. The waitress expressed her apologies then headed towards the kitchen. Within seconds, the homely looking waitress was back with Norm’s Blue Milk. “Anything else I can get you?” asked the waitress. “No, thank you ma’am. That will be all” said Lamb. With that the waitress smiled and left their table.

Haloburner pointed to the salt and asked “would you please pass the pepper Norm?” “You know, I may take ya up on your outing offer if you are still around in three days” said the young Padawan as she waited for the pepper.

Galen chuckled. Quietly, of course. It sounded like the lady had gotten a little paranoid, saying their conversation was being recorded.
"I'm not recording their conversation," he said, subtly indicating towards Norm and Haloburner, "You?"
Galen was seriously beginning to wonder what the lady was really here for. She clearly wasn't here for a fashion company, that was for sure. He wondered if the feathers she wanted were from Salazar. That would mean she was after him too.

"As a matter of fact, yes, and she said feathers." Casir stood without another word, and made his way to the young lady and her company. As he arrived, he grabbed a chair from nearby and sat between the two. "Good day. Forgive me for the interruption, but your mention of feathers interests me..." His voice was blank, and did nothing to compliment the formalities. "You'd be surprised to hear just how important feathers can be. Uh..." He looked at the man, who had yet to confirm his relevance to this mission. "Excuse me. Where are my manners? I'm Casir Sunfell." He offered his hand first to the woman, then to the man.

"As I was saying, I'm here on business of the utmost importance and would like a chance to speak with you about these...feathers. I'll leave you to your meal, you can contact me anytime if you wish." Not once did he take his eyes off Haloburner, and with his last words, handed her a small piece of flimsi with his name and commlink number on it.

He stood and gave them each a nod before returning to his table. "Galen, I think we've got business elsewhere. We need to secure resources, and this place has nothing more to offer us by way of intelligence."

Galen heard Casir get up and walk over to the two people's table, telling them to contact him and whatnot, in a way which was not at all low-key. As Casir returned, he gave a sigh and decided not]/i] to go with him.
"Actually, I think I'll hang out with Norm and Haloburner for a bit. See how much they actually know, if they really are here for such specific feathers. I don't even know what Norm's here for, maybe it's Salazar, but... No way to be sure yet.
The less time with this scum the better. He wonder how much the man was hiding, first spice, then cigarettes, and now a recording device.
"Where and when do we meet?"

Chuckling a bit at her response about it not being a secret mission if she told him, Norm merely listened as she went off quickly about the food and the cook. She seemed a little... jittery maybe? Nervous a touch? Something... Huh. Maybe she was finding him at least -somewhat- attractive. He was certainly finding her as such. Dropping a light nod as he made to swallow, Saint offered over the salt and pepper to Haloburner, finally being able to respond with, "Ere you go."

Lamb's mention of Feathers and the two other bums back in the corner was curious. It was as if she was a bit watchful... perhaps paranoid about them. Maybe she had a right to be? Saint -was- about to ask her how she figured they were recording their conversation, but before he really could, one of the men came over and pretty much confirmed all of her suspicions. How he had heard them talking from the back table seemed pretty suspect to the Commando, heh.

The guy didn't even give Lamb or Norm a chance to respond back to him before walking off. By his conversation and demeanor, it was -clear- that everyone here (at least the two at the table and Lamb herself) were all on the hunt for Salazar. For a moment, he thought about just calling everyone out so they wouldn't have to beat around the bush and lollygag around. If he did that though, he would -certainly- have to pass word along to stand-down. Recon only and pass intel along.

Perhaps that's what he would do... Saint took a few moments to think it over as he bought himself a little time with an inquiry to the shapely female before him, gaze fixed towards that back table. "Well that was curious," he started off with, taking a moment before he turned his attentions back to Lamb. "Important business about feathers? Krath... I mean... they're just feathers..." Oh man... hopefully that didn't open up a can of worms with this fashionista. Norm didn't mean to buy -that- much time...

“Oh, great- now we have unwarranted attention. Can’t they see that clearly, we are in a deep conversation? Perhaps Norm will take care of them…” thought Lamb, as she saw the, scrawny looking one walk to her and Norm’s table. The Padawan thought Casir’s partner will follow suit and join him at the table, but he didn’t. Haloburner gave a slight sigh, and then said, “good, stay on your end of the pub- three is a crowd.” The Padawan was almost certain that Casir and Norm heard her little retort, but they didn’t respond.

The one eyed fellow immediately upon identifying himself- well just his name- handed Lamb a small piece of flimsy. Funny the flimsy only had his first name, along with commlink number. Norm was not given one, which made Lamb slightly suspicious. Eyes gazed on the young Padawan, not once did Casir pause to allow the pair to speak. Moments later, Casir left Norm and Lamb’s table with the same sense of arrogance that he carried in. He joined his partner at the other table for a brief second then left the pub. “Good!” Lamb thought as the man finally walked out.

Glad that the scrawny looking man was gone, Haloburner turned to Saint and said “that was something wasn’t it?” Lamb pulled out her purple purse, placed the flimsy inside the purse and said “thank you” as she collected the salt and pepper from Norm.

As she saturated her veggies with the pepper, she heard Norm say “Well that was curious.” Followed by a short pause then "…Important business about feathers? Krath... I mean... they're just feathers..." Haloburner was now 99.9% sure Norm is in fact the contact she was sent to. This realization caused her left hand to tremble, just slightly. Must be from all the alcohol she’s been consuming since her arrival at the pub. The Padawan slightly turned her head towards the right side of her body, swept the stray hair off her right eye, and then affirmatively responded “yes, Norm, fashion is my life and fine feathers are hard to come across. Especially considering the value it adds to my designer clothing line.”

The young Padawan took a bite of her veggie burger, and then took her napkin off her lap to wipe the tiny stray lettuce hanging down from her lips. Upon placing her napkin back on her lap, Lamb turned her eyes back Norm’s side of the table. Perhaps the jitters in her left hand was correlated with Norm’s handsome facial features. “Focus!” she heard- almost in the voice of her Jedi Master. “Pleasure comes only after that son of a gun-Salazer- is captured” thought Lamb. The young Padawan intently listened to Norm’s response and interjected “um-hum, hmm” as Norm spoke.

"I'm gonna go get a sense of the wildlife. We need to get this moving. Meet me here in oh-three hundred hours." Casir kept his voice low out of habit, and rose to walk across the room and out of the cantina.

Good to be out of that kriffing place. The cyborg began to mosey down the walkway, looking for a hunting lodge of sorts. One such place rested on the far corner, about twenty meters away. When Casir stepped inside, he was greeted by a lone rodian male who looked to be getting on in years.

"Hey there, what can I do for ya?" The rodian offered a sincere smile as he waved, and he was probably a genuine people person. "I'd like to know about some of the avian species here, for hunting. I like collecting feathers." It wasn't often that Casir spouted to very conspicuous lines in one afternoon, but none of his internal scanners showed any lifeforms or recording devices near, save the lone rodian. Besides, he was tired of this game. Talking and trailing wasn't fun anymore. Maybe I should seek another employment opportunity. I'd be a good assassin...

Before Galen could ask whether the man meant 'oh, three hundred hours', or '0300 hours', most likely the latter, Casir walked out leaving him alone. Galen guessed he'd just show up when he thought was a good time.
He walked over to Norm and Lamb's table, seating himself in one of the open seats.
"Please excuse... that," Galen said, "He's quite a horrible person. Now, I hear you guys are here on business which neither of you wish to speak of?" He spoke in a quiet voice so he wasn't suspicious, but couldn't be eavesdropped either.

Norman shrugged his shoulders lightly at the newcomer's remark. Shaking his head a bit, he replied, "Not really. I'm hear lookin' for a friend," he gestured across the table towards the shapely Haloburner Lamb as he continued, "And the pretty young lady is here on business. Something about a fashion line of some sort." Moving the back of his hand up along side his mouth and nose, Saint just barely lowered his voice a bit as he address Galen a bit quietly, "I'm not much of a fashion buff m'self. Are you?"

He tilted his head towards him and raised an inquistive eyebrow as if awaiting a response. Glancing briefly over at Halo, he gave her a quirky smile as he tossed her a quick wink. Hopefully he hadn't offended her... too much. Honestly though, he wasn't a man of fashion. In his mind, a man of fashion was..... nevermind. He wouldn't go there. Not now anyway. Taking another bite of his meal, Saint allowed his gaze to rest solely on the newcomer as a reply would likely follow here in a moment or two... maybe.

((Not certain who all is still in the game, but here we go…))

While Saint spoke, Halo simply kept her gaze on their surrounding and food simultaneously. She added her two cents in the conversation after Saint mentioned fashion..

“Well, not exactly true Saint. Yes, some men in the fashion business are… are… never mind. But we all need clothes on our back and fine attire to adorn. Speaking of which, I hear there is a fine feather supply shop around these parts. I have an appointment with a contact, but if you know of any would you let me know?”

Since the blonde did not want to be the center of attention, she stopped speaking to allow the other fellow a chance to speak. Halo simply went back to her plate of food while keeping an eye out for the door as well.

"No, fashion isn't really my kind of thing" Galen replied. He was sure there was something more going on than getting just any old feathers. "Can I ask you, Haloburner, why you care so much about your conversation being recorded? If I were you, I would have just gone and asked them nicely to stop. And if that failed, maybe ask again, just not so nicely." He waited for a response, then commented on an earlier part of their conversation. "I'm curious as to why you consider your mission to get feathers so secret. I doubt Norm, or by the look of it, anyone else in this bar, is going to try and ruin your mission."

Speaking up before Haloburner said anything, Norman replied, "I doubt it's so much of her mission being a secret than it is just appreciating one's own privacy. M'self, I'd be irritated if I found out there was someone recording my conversations, regardless of -what- I was speaking about." Shrugging his shoulders lightly, he turned his gaze over towards Miss Lamb for a moment as if working over a thought.

After a moment, he addressed her, "And while I don't know of anyone specifically that deals in fashion, th' fella I'm lookin' for might know somethin' or other about the business." Gesturing over towards her, he continued, "You're more than welcome to join me in finding him and askin' y'self if'n you like. Wouldn't mind th' company m'self." Quirking an inquisitive eyebrow, he awaited a response.

With a wryly look on her face, Halo turned to face Glen, “at least the said individual is no longer in the building- so I don’t have to worry about any further intrusion of my privacy.” She stopped to take a sip of her drink and added, “I wouldn’t say my feather hunt business here at Naboo is one of secrecy- I simply value my privacy just as Norman said few seconds ago.”

Halo placed her glass back down then turned to Norman “in fact, yes I would like to join you. Maybe the guy you are looking for will be of help to me.”

"Fair enough," Galen said, nodding after hearing their reasoning. Once they finished talking to each other, Galen had another query. "I don'y quite understand," he said, "How someone like Norm here, if this person is anything like him, could help someone like Haloburner in the fashion industry."

Saint quirked a humored look while raising an eyebrow at the fella (Galen). "A person -like- me? And what am I?" Norm found that remark curious. A person jumping to a conclusion or a judgment about him based off of what little conversation they had had, as well as, well, probably his current attire and perhaps mannerisms? But what had he really betrayed so far?

Saint gestured about with a waving hand to one side, "You don't think that someone who -lives- on Naboo might be able to help her in her quest for a local businessman dealing in fashion?" Leaning forward, he held his gaze on the man, awaiting a response. This outta be interesting, he thought to himself. Giving Haloburner a quick smirk, Norm soon held his full attention back on Galen.

"You," said Galen, "Are someone who claims they aren't much of a fashion-person." After Norm's next question, he said, "I'm not judging anyone here, I'm not assuming that someone could help her with fashion because they're from Naboo. If there happens to be a feather store, I suppose that would help, but if Haloburner wants something special not any old store will have it."

...Not any old store will have it. "You've got that right Galen." Halo interjected.

"And besides I already have a contact for my feathers, but it's always a good idea to have more than one supplier- keeps them honest. I hate getting blatantly cheated."

With that Haloburner motioned for their waiters, the 'homely' looking one (according to Saint), for her ticket. Seems her job here at the restaurant was coming to a close.

Quirking a humored look, Saint leaned forward a bit against the table, arms folded as he eyed Galen with a knowing look. Clearing his throat a bit first while he turned his attentions towards Haloburner, Norman gestured over towards Galen, "I think what he's trying to say... is that -he- would like to be the one to accompany you to wherever it is that you would like to go."

Sitting back a bit, Norm continued as his arms slid from atop the table to over his chest, "Can't say that I blame him neither. Shapely young thing like y'self... -real- easy on the eyes... pleasant personality." Saint quieted for a moment as he simply bobbed his head, shifting his gaze from Lamb to Galen and back again. Now back to Galen, he reached over with a hand to clap the apparent mercenary on the shoulder as he added, "You're more than welcome to join us too mate."

Clicking his tongue within a cheek, Norm gave the mercenary (Galen) a quick wink as he awaited a response or reply of some sort. It was likely that Galen didn't simply want to accompany them both, but rather, just accompany Lamb herself, with Saint seeing his own way out.

Heh.

((Sorry for the delay, I didn't realise anyone had posted))

"No," Galen said flatly to Norm. He wasn't the kind of person to be following around some stranger for no other reason than that they looked nice. If he followed someone, it was for a reason, generally because they seemed suspicious or may have information he needed. Galen had a feeling there was something seriously wrong with these two, something suspicious, so he would accompany them. Feathers... Galen wondered if he should ask them directly about Salazar. Probably not, just to be on the safe side.
"I'll come with you," Galen said, "But not for Norm's reasons."

((No worries. I’ve been busy myself with school, other threads and etc…))

Lamb smiled rather broadly at Galen’s response. ‘I'll come with you…But not for Norm's reasons.’ Glad to finally see the waiters at their table again, Haloburner paid for her ticket and stood up. “Well, I am heading out,” said the blonde as she looked down at the two men. “I’ll meet you two fellows at the door.” With that Haloburner took a last sip of her drink then set the glass down.
