Only reason I can see training having any effect on the RolePlay outside of it is in the case of Kreed, where he dropped out of his training and got arrested by da po-po.

I mean, no one's becoming at knight at like 10 years old. So do the youngling training and get all your thread requirements out of the way. When that's done, your char can be up to date and be finished with the training and only have the missions to do. And those missions can be done in the current timeline.

That was also totally pre-planned (on Hoorex's part that is, not on the part of everyone), so if a user has an idea that they're going to be doing something like that then odds are they'll begin their training in "present day."
