Hyperspace
Quetzalli flipped a switch on her console, opening up the comm line. "Now remember Mae, we're jumping in close to the planet's orbit. Be prepared to kill power as soon as we exit hyperspace. With any luck, their sensors won't be tuned well enough to pick up our hyperspace signatures and powered down we'll just be ghosts to them. We'll coast into orbit and see what we see. Keeping our fingers crossed the whole time of course. Rex, you'll drop the Valkyrie out of hyperspace behind Dosuun's moon to hide from detection, and we'll signal y'all with two bursts of static on this channel if the coast is clear. If we're discovered... Well it won't really matter then. We'll just signal you with kriff-loads of profanity. On the same channel of course." Quetzalli paused and smirked. "Mando, I know you're taking the lead on this op, but since you're riding shotgun for this portion, I assume you won't mind if a pilot takes care of the fine-tuning for this leg."
Suddenly, Quetzalli's R6 astromech, sitting in it's socket on her Y-Wing, started whistling loudly. "What? What do you mean you're receiving..." Quetzalli paused for a moment, studying the information coming in on her console screen. "Alright ladies and gentlemen, we've got a bit of an anomaly here. My R6 just picked up an automated distress beacon originating from a planetary body not far from our destination. Name of the planet seems to be Lipsec. According to Koda Station's records it is a small world at the end of the Lipsec Run. Lightly inhabited. Mostly rural. R6, see if you can clean that up a bit, would you?" After a brief moment of silence, Quetzalli spoke up again. "Looks like the ADB is a model commonly seen amongst settlers and small communities out here on the rim. This is definitely within our Imp's hunting grounds. Alright Mando, time to play your part as our brave and noble leader. Should we check this out? If it's a raiding party from Dosuun, and they come home in the middle of our surprise party, that could prove to be a very big thorn in our side. That being said, it could be nothing. Or it could be something very stupid." Quetzalli waited for Dax to speak up with his decision.
