jedi_temple___lothal___by_darthtemoc-d8cag10.jpg

Vivien gently swung her feet off the chairs of the transport as it set down on the vast plains of Lothal, one of the many Jedi Temples in their Order. She was a long way from Correlia, her home, and quite nervous. Yet she smiled to herself.

I'm finally here. Mom would be so proud.

Her father would be joining her shortly after his mission. What the mission was, exactly, was sensitive information she could not know of. Something she understood and hoped to be a part of. The cloaks and robes, the sounds of wildlife and beauty. It spoke to her profoundly as she looked upon the temple. It was as though it beckoned her inside, towards her goal, towards her destiny. She chuckled again. That was foolish thinking, nothing more. She still had to be accepted first, although from what she knew that was the easiest step to becoming a Jedi.

Stepping off the transport and thanking the pilot, she set off towards the main doors, looking around at the gathered warriors of the Light robed in brown and sand colored robes. They gave off Force Aura, a powerful sort. The entire temple did. It was ancient, and abound with the kind of wonder and mystery you hear in children's tales.

This was the place to begin.

Jogging around the temple, Cyrus had just completed his first lap before watching as a transport began its descent towards the temple. Having recently arrived himself, Cyrus was still acclimating to the comings and goings of the temple, and this was out of schedule for the usual supply run. The Transport landed and Cyrus watched from a distance as a woman he did not recognise stepped out, and began walking towards the main entrance to the temple.

Without a second thought Cyrus jogged over to her. As he drew closer Cyrus could make out more details, she was around his own age, excited, and with a sword of a style Cyrus did not recognise at her side. "Hello!" Cyrus calls out, keeping his voice neutral, before slowing down his jog until he was within comfortable conversation distance. "Welcome to the Jedi temple of Lothal, is there something I could help you with?" New arrivals to the best of Cyrus' knowledge was not common to the temple, he had only been staying here while he waited for his master to be assigned to him. So he figured it would be best to at least greet new people as they came in, whether or not he had seen them in the temple before was irrelevant.

As she walked towards the towering structure, the words of her teacher rang true. Beauty truly did come from unexpected places-

"Welcome to the Jedi temple of Lothal, is there something I could help you with?"

This place is so... OH THERE'S A PERSON TALKING. And jogging. Why is he jogging??

"Hello! I was wondering where I would go to join the Order. Is there some sort of process?"

Vivien replied to the man that approached her quickly. She hadn't expected to be greeted so quickly, it slightly alarmed her. But at least they where friendly and not elitist. She turned to him and nodded in greeting.

"I was hoping to join the Order. My father told me to wait for him, but I really couldn't help but look around. Besides, it's not as if he told me when he would get back. Vivien Espaa. It's nice to meet you."

As Cyrus observed the newcomer, she seemed distracted by something, which Cyrus guessed to be the temple. She seemed surprised when he called out to her, but that was understandable. She explained how she wanted to join the order, which surprised Cyrus, he was not knowledgeable when it came to such matters, having been picked up as a child he has no clue what the process would be for her. She quickly repeated that she wanted to join the order before introducing herself, and mentioned she was supposed to wait for her father.

Cyrus smiles slightly in order to not seem threatening "I'm Cyrus Sunstone, it's nice to meet you as well. I myself do not know what it would take for you to join the order, its not something I have covered in any length, at least not yet. Though I could help you find someone who could help you, if you wished, I'm sure we could find someone who knows about these matters better than I. Though of course it might be better if you waited for your father." It was a lot to get out, and Cyrus probably said more than he needed, but it got the job done. Cyrus' eyes flit between Vivien's and her sword, still trying to determine who made it and what for, it didn't appear to be a vibro blade, but something was different about it that held Cyrus' attention

Passing beneath the large mouth of the temple's entrance toward the docking bays, Anaro was dwarfed by the gate's massive size. Though he could see on several landing pads the normal speeders and handful of shuttles provided for the Order's use, though there were also some other ships being gassed and fueled- likely a few visitors in the form of dignitaries, or other people meeting with the council. Nothing Anaro himself wanted to worry about. Then he felt an unfamiliar twinge within the force. It wasn't often he got sensations- as he wasn't any sort of master, but he could feel some things.

He felt the force- anew. Life. A.... new life. Though- more like... a person- a human? Untrained in the force. He could feel it within them, just barely, but the waters he like to compare the sensation to- was more like a small stream's trickle, like the force had been dammed up within the vessel, but certainly present.

In that instant- he quit what he was doing, and stood still. The strangeness of the sensation was enough to draw his attention to the area. He looked over to his left and saw a transport off in the distance, and up ahead was a single female traipsing toward the temple. "you.." he said to himself, turning his body to them. Though they were much too far away to hear. Walking her way, he saw an initiate approach them. It appears that they were taking a leisurely jog - and not unlike himself, wished to check out the newcomer. Anaro continued walking their way, across the duracrete until his boots hit the plains, and he could heard the two's conversation.

"....might be better if you waited for your father" was all he heard from the initiate speaking with the young woman.
Not wishing to be rude, he didn't blurt out, but he did wave his hand in greeting as he arrived in speaking distance. Clasping his hands behind his waist, he accompanied a nod of greeting, "Hello there, and... welcome," he gave a polite smile to the both of them, though the 'welcome' was obviously addressed to the newcomer. "I'm sure he's attending to your questions," Anaro gestured toward Cyrus, "though couldn't help stifle my curiosity, and wanted to come introduce myself. To both of you, actually."

He extended his hand to the newcomer first, and would wait for her reaction before then extending it to Cyrus. "Anaro Dreiger... and apologies for dropping eaves- but I heard something about your father- is he 'here' ?" He couldn't help but be friendly - and likely a little overeager to help. It wasn't every day newcomers came to the temples alone.

Kaylara Dornelles walked through the dark hallways of the Jedi Temple on Lothal noiselessly, her brown robes billowing gently behind her. Like most students in the Order Kara had really only spent time at the temple as a padawan, learning the basics of following and channeling the force. Recently, however, she had been tasked with searching for a few records in the old library that had somehow yet to have been digitized and added to the Jedi Archives. Thus, Kara had spent the last few days reacquainting herself with the ancient temple and surrounding accompanying buildings.

On this particular afternoon the young Jedi was carrying a couple volumes of manuscript back from the old library to the newer section of the temple where they could be studied and reviewed. The warm Lothal wind flowed softly through her blonde hair as she exited one of the ancient temple structures. The temple itself really didn't get many visitors which caused Kara to note the group of three standing outside the entrance of the temple complex. She walked passed them quietly with a small smile and quick nod of her head.

Ryse didn't necessarily have much reason to be at the temple than that of a visit for exploration. He wasn't a Jedi Knight and at this stage he was scouting for power and with that knowledge. He was a rather curious person and he even wished to learn more about temples. This would explain his visit to this temple as well.. it was a temple.

Soon enough after arriving he noticed a small group of people. He didn't necessarily pay any mind to them, he was trying not to be nosy. However he did see a female Jedi carrying something and decided he may as well make himself useful as the youth strutted over to her, a Jedi he'd perhaps later learn the name of, the Jedi being Kaylara, and first off gave a smile. Smiles were what people liked to see, especially from a stranger. Well, it's either a stranger or some other dumb expression he could have. He decided on the smile and when he mentioned what she was carrying, the manuscripts, he pointed to them in her arms. "Pardon me Ma'am. I just happened to notice you and was wondering if you needed any help carrying those? Ah, I'm Ryse Quinn by the way."

Kara was halted by a stranger interrupting her walk and asking if she needed assistance in carrying her manuscripts. Looking him over, it was apparent to her that the young man was a Jedi Initiate and she could feel the force flowing through him, albeit loosely. Somewhat lost in her own thoughts, she wasn't quite expecting human interaction and responded with a, "No" sounding slightly more coldly than she meant it, adding a, "thanks" in an attempt to rectify.
