Invitation to the Tattooine Desert Race

(I hope Weiss doesn't mind my putting this in here. I'm trying to spread the word about this RP idea so I can get a racing team from each of the four big factions to participate. Please note that this is non-Story related, i.e., it is not related to the official story of the timeline, therefor it will also not be impacted by war between different factions.)

FROM THE TATTOOINE TOURIST BOARD Dear Sir or Madame The Tattooine Tourist Board and Slabba & Hutt Industries hereby have the pleasure of inviting the Chiss Ascendancy to participate in the Annual Tattooine Desert Race that will commence five days from now. To participate the Ascendancy is required to select a racing team to participate, as well as design your own vehicle to represent your people, and submit both for evaluation with the Tattooine Tourist Board within two days before the commencing of the race. There is also a buy-in fee of 250,000 credits required to be paid in full to the Tattooine Tourist Board before the team is listed in the race. As the Tattooine Desert Race is a chance for corporations to show off the best of their vehicle designs, this fee is usually raised by means of corporate sponsorship. The Tattooine Tourist Board embraces freedom of action and speech, and as such does not impose any rules on the participants of the Tattooine Desert Race, with the exception of rules imposed on the vehicle itself. The vehicle submitted for participation must be land-born - in other words, the vehicle cannot be capable of leaving the atmosphere of Tattooine, nor be airborne. Hovering-, speeder- and swoop bike technology, and other technology similar to this, is, however, allowed. The Desert Race is an honored tradition of Tattooine that dates back to five decades ago, and has been held every year ever since, even during times of great war. Every year, corageous men and women from Tattooine as well as off-planet, has come to test their mettle, their courage and their skills as pilots in the Desert Race, and the Sith and Jedi has a long-standing tradition of lightsaber measuring during the race, where all forms of combat outside the contest are disallowed. Darth Vader, the infamous Sith Lord and one-time victor of the Desert Race, once said about the race; "The Tattooine Desert Race is the traditional time of year when we Sith show the Jedi that we are simply better than they are" - to which Master Yoda so famously replied; "Lying, you are". This year as with every one before it, our corageous contestants race over a prize sum consisting of the full sum raised from buy-in fees by participants, as well as a bonus of 250,000 credits, as so generously donated by the Slabba & Hutt Industries of Mos Entha (Remember - Shop smart, shop Slabba-Mart!).
