Best bet would be to make a playlist from your old itunes library that holds every or as many songs in your old library as possible and transfer it to your ipod (that is if you have one.) Then place that playlist from the ipod onto your laptop's itunes library.

You should be able to hook your iPod up to at least 3 computers I think it is. Plus, if you made backups of your library, it should be simple to transfer your music over. If not, hook up the iPod and synch it.

For me it's 5 computers though I do have one of the original ipods so I don't know if they've changed things with the newer models. I finally managed to authorize my ipod to transfer files to the laptop I'm currently using it shouldn't be to difficult to do the same DARMAN I didn't even know the password I had to use to authorize it but changing the password is relatively easy.

You could also just use an external hard drive or if you've not got all that much music a flash drive to transfer the songs...

Make your old PC into a server and partition the old files onto a virtual computer. Then access the music at any time.

Thats how you do it, there are no other options. :CStern:

I doubt you even know how to do that.

And Darman, don't buy music. Solves this problem before it even rears its ugly head :p

You do insult me sir. I must challenge thee to a duel for my honor! What shall the challenge be then?
