As he stepped out of his vessel, Carden was immediately taken with his surroundings. Unlike most demons of the abyss of the Corellian Hell, Carden preferred beauty over brimstone. It was one of the reasons that he never fit well with the Sith, and it was one of the reasons why he was surprised the Dark Lord Dire had even asked him to be a member of the then-new Sith Empire. Regardless, that single act of what was perhaps foolishness on the part of the late Dark Lord, struck down dishonorably by his own weakling apprentice, began a long journey that had finally brought Carden to the site where he would finally begin the ritual he had waited years to start. It was time to summon the spirits of the ancient Lords of the Sith, specifically the Dark Lord Ragnos, in such a manner that would give life to the future children of the night, the future guardians of his namesake.

Dark Guardians of Lettow.

His assistants began to step off of his vessel, but he was not yet ready for them. He had to be sure that no one other than the fish-heads that he needed was on the planet. After moments of scanning visually and technologically, he determined that there was no one else, meaning that no one had yet tarnished the beauty that he was prepared to turn into pure and relentless evil.

Lehon was a tropical world to be sure in its unknown corner of the galaxy. The surface was covered with oceans that were cluttered by islands and archipelagos. It was the only planet of the system, but one hundred years earlier it had shared its orbit with the Star Forge, the ancient doomsday weapon of the Infinite Empire that had been used by Darth Revan and Darth Malak, only to be destroyed by the foolishness of the latter.

When he finally determined it was safe, he signaled for his aides to step off of the ship. He could sense their apprehensiveness, as he had always known that they were uncomfortable with him. It did not take any form of genius to know that they thought of him as a demon, his dark blue skin and his vibrantly red eyes making him seem as if he was a spawn that had just crawled its way out of the Citadel of sorrow. Surely he was a demon in his own right, but that was all thanks to the sins of the whore that he had called “mother” for far too long.

Behind the aides was a smaller, hooded figure. Carden knew that the person who lived under that hood was small and innocent, but that would quickly change. Never again would the young one know the pain of emptiness or loneliness, as it would be his duty to summon the future once Carden was gone. The boy’s destiny was laid out in front of him, but even as he removed his hood to reveal the face of a five year old child, he clearly did not understand where he was or what he was meant to do in the future. Even so, he would be a destroyer of worlds, one who would be loved but soon hated. It was for that very reason that Carden had named the boy Damien Starkiller.

"Welcome, my boy," Carden said. "Welcome to your future."
