Summary A cunning pilot, and strapping young lad, Jacen Onasi is a member of the Rebellion. Having joined at the age of 17, he had originally joined looking for a shot for recognition and future glory. Due to his knack for flying, he was placed in one of the many fighter squadrons the Rebellion had to offer. He wasn't the most compliant soldier, as a matter of fact, Jacen had a strong tendency to act on his own accord; causing him to be be viewed with disdain by his superiors. As this may be, Onasi proved to be more than tactful and effective when it came to performing various missions and leadership. Because of this, he was soon chosen to lead his own fighter squadron at the age of 19. During the course of his life, Jacen had soon discovered his force sensitivity and gradually built up his skills in the ways of the force; mainly neutral, he tends to lean towards the light and trains himself to learn to resist the temptation of the dark side of the force. Personality In his youth, Jacen was often impatient, looking ahead to the future with little regard for his present surroundings. However, as he grew older and began his path as a force sensitive, Jacen became more patient and seasoned, and was often seen as having wisdom beyond his years. However, he has still retained his idealistic worldview of his youth, believing that people who traveled down the dark path are still redeemable. Some called Onasi naive for this, although it was actually his kindness and ability to see the good in others that forced him to view others that way. Jacen was known for being empathetic to his friends and would go through great lengths to help them, whenever he could. Path of a Soldier Jacen Onasi was born on the planet of Corellia. With only his older brother, whom was only 8 years older, to look out for him, he was taught to fend for himself on the streets; This also included thievery and smuggling. As a smuggler, he found himself on different planets across the galaxy, some including: Nal Hutta, Onderon, Sullust, and Kuat. Discovered the force at the age of 15, Jacen spent a the next two years of his life on the planet of Mortis and Coruscant, learning the ways of the force under a few masters, whom were affiliated with the light side. Although he was still much to learn in terms of force alteration and whatnot, Onasi found himself putting his training on pause and ending up joining the Rebellion, when he turned 17. Three years later, Jacen has proved to be an promising leader and fighter pilot. As of now, he stays on Korriban, looking for other force sensitives to join the Rebellion's cause – To be continued. Aspirations - Wisdom: He seeks to gain greater wisdom in the ways of the force – Including knowledge from both sides. - Power: He desires power, power to overcome the enemies and obstacles that might stand in his way. Relationships - He has no relationships known Possessions - Lightsaber: As a force sensitive that began his path in the ways of the force, it was only reasonable of him to carry around such a civilized weapon. This weapon is usually used as a last resort when confronting an enemy, unless they are a force sensitive as well. Symbolizing his neutrality, his blade has a silver glow. - Blaster Pistol: Given to him by his older brother, Jacen always carries a DL-18 blaster pistol in a black holster. When shot, it gives off a distinct, high pitched sound and releases blue laser bolts. As his primary weapon, he chooses this weapon over his lightsaber, unless proven ineffective. - Intrepid I: His pride and joy, the Intrepid I is his personal ship and starfighter. It is essentially a modified Tie Crusader with the capability of being able to enter hyperspace. It can carry up to three people and has hidden compartments that were originally used to smuggle goods and spices. The Intrepid I has a total of six guns; two in the front, two in the rear, and two on both wings. Despite it's bulky size, it's a relatively fast ship. Though. he is only a mere Acolyte, Wretch has shown great prowess in the Control Arts. They have quickly become his favored section of study, finding them to aide in Lightsaber Combat more than others. Which, is a field that he wishes to flourish in. He seems capable of picking up on these techniques of manipulating the Force much better than the Sense or Alter fields. It is our belief that with proper guidance, he could one day become a powerful Master of Control Force techniques. Sense Force - Jacen is an average force adept, he has begun learning some of the Sense aspects of the Force. Though, he is far from a Master and it is still pretty obvious that he needs a lot more training in this field of study. He shows no real interest towards this aspect of study, though we believe that with the proper guidance his mind could be swayed. As all aspects of the Force are unique and equally important. Alter Force - Jacen is an average force adept, he has begun learning some of the Alter aspects of the Force. Though, he is far from a Master and it is still pretty obvious that he needs a lot more training in this field of study. While, not fond of this aspect of the Force... he is not dissuaded by it either. While, the lessons don't come naturally to him... He does find great pleasure in making new strides in his studies in this field. Misc. Facts Nothing of note. Yet.

On the site, there's a rule that characters aren't allowed to take prominent last names, such as Organa, or in this case Onasi. We're at a point in history where pretty much every one of those bloodlines have died out. If this guy is a decedent of Carth Onasi from way back in the 3000 BBYs, it wouldn't fly.

I'd asked about that recently, and I recall Brandon saying it was a case by case situation. They are allowed, you just need to be cleared to do it.
