Jagged Sonora was born in Tun Wala, Arda-2. He grew up poor and without his parents around. His mother died giving birth to him and his father, a blue-collar manufacturing worker, died in a workplace accident when he was five. The harsh living conditions drove him to the street, where he learned to survive from stealing. It all changed however, when he met a young Free World Alliance official, who went to Tun Wala to finalize a trade deal. Ever the opportunist, Sonora tried to steal from the young officer, only to be caught red handed. The officer, who introduced himself as Florian Latt, was intrigued by the bright eleven years old, and offered him one way ticket to Coruscant, which Sonora eagerly accepts.

Seventeen years old Sonora couldn’t be happier when he received admission letter to Hanna City Flight Academy. Just six years earlier, he was a misguided orphan stealing his way on Tun Wala alleys. Now, he lives a fairly pleasant life, is accepted to one of the most prestigious pilot academy in the galaxy, and more importantly, he belongs to something. A government that cares about the wellbeing of the people, friends that supports him through and through, and a family that accepts him as one of their own. Florian Latt, now a high ranking member of Coruscant Ministry of Commerce, has grew closer with Sonora, and promised him an opportunity after Sonora’s graduation from the Academy.

A brilliant student, Sonora graduated with a minor in Business & Commerce. He went back to Coruscant where he was offered a job as Ministry of Commerce junior pilot. Sonora thrived in his work and he became one of the best commercial pilots in Coruscant. Often on a trip with Latt and other high ranking members of the ministry, Sonora become fluent in political and trade intrigues. At 33 years old, Sonora decided that he has the potential of doing much more and with the support of Latt, he established a luxury flight firm. With his newly acquired Luxury 3000 Space Yacht, Diamond in the Rough, his career skyrocketed.

However, tragedy strikes three years later. Florian Latt was found dead in his room hanging. Sonora was crushed and broken. A father figure, brother, friend has left him and he can’t accept it. He proceed to drank his pain away and become addicted to gambling. Soon enough, he was caught in a huge debt, and started to smuggle spices to pay his debt. His smuggling run was smooth at first. However, rumors about his involvement in smuggling rings starts to circulate. The government began to build a case on him. Soon, the government collected enough evidence and planned a “random search” on Diamond in the Rough. Luckily, he was informed by one of his friends. Sonora packed his important belongings and proceed to left for Vandor, while the government seized almost all his assets. Through his smuggling links, Sonora was offered a job by Crimson Dawn crime syndicate. Already too far to turn back, he reluctantly agreed.

Jagged Sonora is quite calm and reserved. He doesn’t talk too much and most of the time prefer to observe his surroundings. Entering his 40s, he already lost his appetite for adventure and riches. While he was ambitious and an opportunist, he also have abandoned those traits, and put much of his focus on surviving. He is naturally a genuine person, and even after everything his been through, he still sparks that positive personality from time to times.


He often finds it hard to work with young smugglers and scoundrels, as they are often brash and reckless, thus jeopardizing the mission safety. Most of the time, he resorts to work on his own or with veterans.

Sonora is an exceptional pilot. He has been flying for around 20 years, mastering maneuvers, space survivability, and secret routes around the known Galaxy. Having spent time around the Ministry of Commerce, Sonora possessed a good negotiation skill, especially when it comes to trading. He speaks fluent Basic Galactic and Meese Caulf, and understands Huttese.

Sonora is not a natural leader. While he is capable of leading small crew and day-to-day operations, he struggles when given authority over large organizations. Not only struggling on working with young, brash scoundrels, Sonora is also not charismatic, and people tend to see him as an overthought. Sonora is not a good hand-to-hand combatant, and while he is able to handle his pistols, he is no expert in that department.
