Name: Jaidari Rixtar
f051bd2287f64e0521c2c5d457134225--anime-guys-fantasy-characters.jpg
Basic Information:
Age: 22
Species: Human
Gender: Male
Faction: Independent
Force Sensitive, if so, trained or untrained: Force sensitive and trained

Appearance:
Jaidari stands at a height of just under 6ft, with long limbs and a scrawny frame. His complexion is pale, with dull brown eyes that have flecks of hazel. His hair is dark brown and is very obviously not styled. The best way to describe it would be, ‘a mop’ of hair. It reaches about halfway between his shoulders and his jawbone. There are no scars or blemishes on his skin.

Attributes:

Due to his preference for books and study over physical activity at a young age, Jaidari never exactly trained his body and is weaker than average both in relation to strength and constitution. Though whatever he lacks in strength and toughness, he makes up for in speed and intelligence. Jaidari is both quick on his feet and quick with his mind. His intellect often trumps others and when push comes to shove, and the battle of wits changes into a battle of weapons, his dexterity allows him to win through his superior agility and dodging ability. Or, if need be, he can flee with his superior speed. Many would say that Jaidari is about as wise as he should be for his age, the same can be said about his abilities with people.

Personality:

Jaidari likes to think a few steps ahead, he’s a planner through and through. Calculated, if you will. His mind is constantly active, and he’ll always be thinking about this or that. He tends to be driven and persistent, not giving up on something unless he absolutely must and there’s no other way to accomplish whatever it is he’s attempting to achieve. He prefers being light-hearted when possible, though as of late he’s found himself becoming more serious. He’s also having occasional bursts of anger as his missing sister has left him prone to worry and irritation. His light-hearted nature only really shines through now when his mind is set on other things and the worry slips away.

Biography:
The musty scent of the cargo hold was starting to irritate Jaidari’s nose. He leaned back onto the wall the cargo hold and sighed. The drunkard across the room from him had not stopped pestering him about why he was on the ship. Jaidari felt like he was going to lose it because of how boring it was here. He decided to humour the intoxicated man, both to save his own sanity and to satisfy the drunkards demands.

“My name is Jaidari Rixtar, I was born on Coruscant, however I got no time to call it home. I was only there for the first few years of my life before my sister and I were taken by a Jedi Knight by the name of Klep’akka, because we were force sensitive. Klep’akka is a Twi’lek by the way. He practically raised the both of us, he never told us why he asked our actual parents to take us, something about ex-Jedi and getting snatched by them. I can’t remember all the details. Either way, he practically became our father, teaching us everything he could, including the ways of the force. As the older, and arguably more mature of the two, Master Klep’akka gave me his second Lightsaber, he preferred to fight with two but gave me his second. Funnily enough, I tended to prefer the theory and such whereas my sister preferred the physical activity and was more suited to a Lightsaber. We could be a lot to handle sometimes, but Master tried his best and I appreciate it. He always tried to separate us though. We weren’t allowed to talk around him, we had to act as if the other didn’t exist”

Jaidari’s eyes wandered to the floor just in front of him, he studied its details keenly as he continued the story

“The three of us spent most of our time planet hopping, not staying in one place for longer than a few months. Master had a reason for this and I never really bothered to ask. I liked visiting all the different planets and seeing all the different cultures, so it wasn’t in my best interests to question it”

Jaidari remembered the various planets he’s visited, their distinct smells and sights. Each with something memorable about them that he still remembers. A wide smile washed over his face.

“The years passed and my sister and myself had become very close. We were unlike other siblings, well at least from what I had gathered from various sources. From my knowledge other siblings fought occasionally and didn’t see eye to eye. Saleen and myself were as close as could be, better than best friends. I guess it was the fact that we were family in a place that wasn’t home. We were each other’s homes because our real home, our parents, had given us up. We made a good team. Our master/’father’ didn’t like that. He said attachments clouded our judgement, a lesson I never understood and still don’t”

His hand balled into a fist as he recalled the bittersweet memories.

“As the days went by I found myself innocently questioning the teachings of Master Klep’akka, wondering- because of my bond with my sister- why the he prohibited emotional attachments. This innocent question however led to me seriously rethinking the teachings of the Jedi. This continued for a while, multiple years in fact. I was so conflicted about my feelings in relation to the Jedi that I considered leaving Kelp’akka. Saleen convinced me to stay though. She was…is…extremely dedicated to the order. Ever since she was a child she’s idolised the Jedi. In realty she was all that was keeping me there”

He smiled fondly as he remembered Saleen convincing him to stay “I need my big brother though, who’s gonna stick around here and help me out if you leave? C’mon, staaaaaayyyyy” He reluctantly pushed the memory out of his mind and continued with the story.

“Unfortunately, as we got older we couldn’t talk as much, Kelp’akka became stricter in his teachings and the opportunity to converse was lacking. We talked occasionally but not as much as either of us would have liked. One day, without warning, Klep’akka introduced Saleen to a new master and the two just…left. They just up and went. I think Kelp’akka felt that, at our age he couldn’t handle the both of us anymore. I was saddened to see my sister go, however I was surviving. This changed when I heard a week or two later that the two had gone missing. Master Klep’akka didn’t intend for me to hear but I overheard him muttering to himself the way he does when he’s stressed. I was shattered, but determined, I asked my master to let me search for her. He declined. I can’t remember his exact reasoning for it, but it was more pathetic excuses about attachments. I couldn’t stand it any longer. I begged and begged, when that didn’t work I changed strategies, I commanded, demanded, anything. It still wouldn’t work. I hadn’t become an official knight yet and therefore was still under the ‘jurisdiction’ of my master, at least that’s what he told me. Regardless, the day came where I decided I had to leave, I’d had enough of the Jedi teachings for years now and that was the last straw. I had to go find my sister, I just had to. I took everything I needed and started to leave. My master snatched my lightsaber from me though, said that if I didn't wish to subscribe to the teachings of the Jedi, I didn't deserve a Jedi's weapon...So now I'm stuck with a dumb Vibroblade"

Jaidari frowned as he remembered his Master taking the lightsaber back. He glanced to his side, where he used to keep it clipped on his belt and gave a defeated sigh

"Anyway, I payed what I could to get on a ship and this was the best I could do without going broke… and well, here I am. Inside the cargo hold of a ship, taking me to Nar Shadaa so I can find my sister”

The sound of snoring made Jaidari’s head snap upwards and he glared at the drunkard…who was sleeping. He wondered how long the drunk had been asleep and whether he’d been talking to himself this entire time. A small smile crawled across his face and he chuckled lightly. Jaidari stretched his back and waited. They weren’t far now. Just a few hours away from landing. Just a few hours from starting the search for Saleen.
