JAYSCREEC'S EXPEDITIONARY SET

Based on the Imperial Covert Dess. This set was created exactly to blend in, furthermore tailored to Jaysceec Alecwit's needs. Several designs are available. It would be impossible to recognize the someone's affiliation solely by these clothes. The dark pieces suggest nothing out of order.

Duraplast plates cover several parts of the body, but it is far from being heavy. The head is not covered at all, but a rebreather is at arm's reach, should the user need it. The dress allows agents to move easily and conceal the equipment they need to complete their mission. An operator belt along with an inner belt keep the user's waistline intact. Rigid enough to support any and all gear, yet has enough flexibility for comfort and fluid movement. No itching, even after hours of motionless hanging from the roof.

Developed by Imperial scientists, heavily based on agents feedback to meet their needs.

LEGALITY

This set is legal anywhere. So long the functions remain hidden, thinking of military presence would not be reasonable. The black plates might be frowned upon where armor is an uncommon sight.

INTENT

To create an unmarked set for my agent, other soldiers, who wish to handle stealth missions with comfort and decent protection. This one belongs to Jayscreec Alecwit.

The four functions are completely optional, they are up to changes and can be easily modified to fit your character's taste. The default setup for imperial covert military or political operations use is below.

Type and Coverage

Type: Medium

Coverage: (Coverage regions for Light armor is 1-3 regions, Medium is 4-5, Heavy is 6-7)


  • Torso: Duraplast plates from crotch to neck.
  • Back: Duraplast plates from top to bottom.
  • Head: Duraplast helmet.
  • Lower Arms: Cortosis weaved armguards.
  • Upper Legs: Duraplast plates around the thighs.



Functions



Function 1: Rebreather

  • Rebreathers allow for a person to survive underwater or in space for brief amounts of time by scrubbing CO2 from their exhaled breath. Generally this lasts for 3-4 posts, but heavy exertion can shorten that time.
Function 2: Whipcord thrower
  • The whipcord launcher was a personal weapon that fired a thin fibercord whip which then wrapped around and ensnared the target to restrict mobility up to 7 meters away while remaining attached to the mount point. It was detachable with a second use of the firing button. The whipcord launcher was favoured by bounty hunters, as it was easy to carry and use, it was species-nonspecific, unlike poisons, and it virtually always ensured a live capture, though it could be cut by a vibro blade with ease.
Function 3: Jump Boots

  • This unusual technology- a precursor to rocket boots- is able to propel a person up to 10 meters beyond what a normal person would normally be able to jump, especially when armored. It is not capable of sustained flight, and requires a brief engine cool-down before it can be used again (1 post cool-down).
Function 4: Injector/Inhaler on the left side of ribs.
  • Originally used for gladiators who would either inject themselves with combat stims or possible pain killers an injector is built into the armor with the ability to carry up to three doses of a substance. These can be accessed and refilled though are usually covered in a protective casing to avoid the damaging of vials. An injector can take many forms depending on the armor. They can be built into the chest piece to distribut kolto to vital organs or adrenaline boosting drugs on an arm. It can even be fitted into helmets for inhalants if desired.
