• Jazen was born 6,931BBY to a high standing noble family on the planet of Ansion. He was the third and last born to a family built on duty and honor to not just their name, but to the oligarchy which they served. Being the last born meant options for the boy growing up; something his siblings found reason to be both jealous and demeaning of at various times. It was his eldest sibling, Joren, who would inherit their father's seat and Lordship when the time came. For this he was groomed to be a politician, a leader, and a true noble. His other sibling, Rebekuh, had another duty to be filled: that of maintaining the oligarchy according to their father's wishes. Which meant the appropriate schooling and teachings to be wed to another noble house. This left Jazen to fill the void of an Honor Guard, an envoy and protector of the house and ultimately the family. His father often compared his duties to that of a Jedi; honor bound by a Knight's code. Growing up the family, and his father in particular spared no expenses in the teachings and tutors to their children. This was especially true to Jazen.
  As a boy he had no fondness for schooling, but learning combat felt like his calling, his purpose. When it wasn't being drilled into his head by various instructors it was his siblings telling him, commanding him to excel or risk being replaced by another who wanted it more. By the time he could pilot a speeder he had made kills with more than just a blaster, but with blade and bare hand against the likes of Lorquals, Surepp's and even Shanhs. The boy took pride in using a blade over blaster, the stories of Jedi and Lightsabers drawing him to the weapon from his earliest memory.
  It wasn't until he was 16 that he began to see his true purpose as an envoy for the family. It was then that Rebekuh was old enough to meet her suitor and in turn be escorted across the planet to meet the nobleman. The task was an easy one, but an important one nonetheless. The return was what proved to be the real challenge, upon arriving home he learned of his fathers sickness and not long after death. His brother would be finally taking control of the house.
  The two would butt heads to no end, but being the elder son, Joren, had final say and command to shut his younger brother out at any moment. This began to cause a rift in the house and Joren would find distant callings for Jazen to answer to. As an Honor Guard he was bound to serve or be separated from more than just his family, but barred from the planet. Fearing exile the young man found solace in meeting with the various oligarchs as his brother's representation or during escort. It was this travel and the distance between he and his sister that drew the two closer and Jazen would find reason to escape to the only remaining family he held dear.
  In recent Rebekuh has become a representative of her own, only instead for the house she married into she represented the very planet as a diplomat. Having no reason to ever want to leave Ansion it was her own departures that peaked his drive to step foot off his home world and seek out answers to what more the galaxy had within it. His sister's disappearance would give him reason and justification to set forth on an adventure of his own.
• Blademanship - Jazen has held a blade of some sort since he could clench his fist to hold it, forever working up to heavier and more skill required blades.
  
  Blaster Pistols - Jazen never found it foolish to have a blaster on hand or at the very least nearby. He is skilled in the use of most blasters in close range and can field strip one if necessary.
  
  Ambidextrous - He is capable of utilizing most tools, weapons, or otherwise one handed devices in either hand without alerting someone to a 'weak' side.
  
  Perception - He has a strong sense of perception. Having a strong knack for not just seeing things before they happen, but an uncanny ability to react to what is not always there. Training from youth against multiple opponents gives him a strong understanding of how to react to attacks from multiple angles.
• Jazen is a stubborn, but bold man always putting duty before himself. Most would consider him gallant by the galaxy standard. He would not be considered cunning as he is not a man of schemes or tricks. Having trained for so long in combat has hardened him, some would say he is cold and direct/precise; but this would only be to know the man at a glance. He is not one to trust a stranger easily or at all until it is earned. Coming from a planet that is so well connected within itself he takes pride in his bonds and friendships, viewing them as most would a family instead.
