Jedi Faction Leader Selection

Since @Vosrik suggested the community choose the next faction leader I have created this thread to help organize the selection. The candidates can post themselves or someone can nominate a candidate. Once we have a list of candidates I'll make a poll to allow the faction members to cast their vote.

It would be helpful for everyone if the candidates can provide who they would likely select for assistant faction leaders, a base outline of their plan for the faction, and their credentials (essentially why they should be chosen). You certainly don't have to give a point by point dissertation on your 'ideas' for the faction, but it would help all of us who want to vote to know what you plan to do.

@Demetrios has already thrown his name in the ring, hopefully we will be able to have a productive discussion based on the will of the faction members.

Some of you might have noticed Vosrik mention that there are things in motion that will bring about some changes in the Jedi Army and the Jedi Order. Those changes will be big enough to affect any plans regarding what the Jedi do as a faction going forward. Something to keep in mind.

From my experience is always good to have people with experience run a main faction. Now not to knock you two down @Roen @Demetrios but you appear to be fairly new members. Are you guy's sure you'd like to take on the stress of running a main faction? Especially one like the Jedi, which is a pretty big faction in and of its-self. Do you guys have experience running a faction? Perhaps an Indie faction or maybe were you an AFL? Again not to knock you down but I'm just wanting to see what qualifies you two for such a big job.

Personally I think @Kiser or @Korvo could take it if they wanted it. Both are the current AFL's.

Another problem with newer members in leading rolez is sometimes they can have commitment issues and fizzle out leading to an awkward turn of events.

As someone who was an FL on this site in the past, that is not the mindset I would look for in my leadership team @Roen. Just giving my two cents as both a member of the Jedi and someone with experience running a main faction.

I also think it's important to "elect" someone who has experience. For me, I'm looking for someone who can make the commitment to the faction and is enthusiastic about leading.

I'd also like to take this time to say that having spoken with @Demetrios regarding his ideas for the future direction of the faction I support his candidacy and have offered to help in any way I can to the next Faction Leader, whether it be Demetrios or anyone else.
