Drex looked through the cockpit of his ship as they passed over the plains of Ankus. He looked down and around him, taking in the landscape of the planet. Even though it was simple, with small groups of Cragmoloids scattered here and there, it had a certain beauty to it. He wish he could admire it a bit more on foot, take a walk and clear his head but they had a job to do. He sighed and began to scan the area as they ventured further south.

Once they got closer to the foothills, Drex began to start paying a bit more attention. They were asked by Ethan if they saw anything and Drex waited for a few moments before replying, "Negative...though if they're gonna be anywhere, it would likely be here..." He was mainly thinking out loud, not meaning to say the second part but he was too focused on searching for the poachers to notice. He usually had a good eye for details so he thought he'd be able to easily spot something, but this was proving a bit difficult.

Balla asked about heat sensors on their ships and Drex replied, "Not on mine...though...would they pop up on a sensor array?" Without looking away from the ground, he turned on his sensor array. He waited a few moments before peeling his eyes away to look at his sensors, but he didn't see anything yet. "Nothing. Though we might not be in range, so I'll keep an eye on it." With that, he went back to looking at the landscape, looking for signs of the bandits.

As it was, Ethan didn't have to have recourse to the sensors. No sooner had they wound their way between the rocky pillars than he felt a terrible stab of anguish from many frightened souls. He banked right on instinct, sweeping around the western spire as their target came into view.

Their enemy had been clever. Their outpost was built into the base of a large outcropping, so deep-set and close to the ground that it would have been virtually invisible from above. Only from their low, overland altitude could it be seen and even then only if one was looking. Three round docking ports were set into the rock like the heads of three great nails, their berth wide enough to accommodate a small shuttle only.

Big enough to move their spoils off this rock.

"There" he said, drawing the others attention. "Lets go in low". The White Knight couldn't see any anti-air defences and the mercenaries would hardly need them against the traditional Cragmoloids. Nonetheless, one could never be too careful. Quiet or not, he could sense more than a few lives behind those dusty doors. Some of the creatures had been taken alive. He was sure of it.

Ethan swung his starfighter in low, only a few meters from the ground. He landed without incident and began his climb from the cockpit, his white robes trailing behind him.

Clutching his hilt on his hip, he whispered a prayer to the Force.
