The barbels had pretty much agreed to what Airen wanted them to do. They had merely rephrased it to sound as if it was they who had decided it. Airen could accept that.
"I think," Airen said, "that is a fair compromise on your part. It is acceptable and we will see to it that your food needs are met. Periodically, different Jedi will visit and ensure the agreement is in place both on your part and on the part of the people."
Though Airen spoke with confidence she couldn't absolutely guarantee all would be kosher forever, "We would also appreciate it if you made contact with us in the event of a dispute between you and the villagers. I do not expect one, but I am not all knowing. In the case of a dispute I can guarantee that the Jedi will be impartial."
