Pirates had the bad habit of praying on the weak and appearing when least wanted, or needed. The situation on Koda station could easily be described as one of opportunistic pirates, making the best of the misery of others. That, however, did not play well with jedi. They may be peacekeepers in hiding, but that would not stop them from rooting out injustice and piracy. It was the duty of a jedi to defend the weak and protect the common and the jedi had not forgotten that.
Jaina, being a knight of the order, felt it was more than her duty to join in on this small infiltration mission that was to secure the station, preserve the lives of many innocents and root out the vagabonds who dared use the dark times that had come upon the galaxy to sack and plunder and thrive in the misery of others. As such the girl was waiting for her companion for this mission, whom she had not yet had the pleasure of meeting, in the hanger from which they were to depart. She was dressed in traditional jedi clothing, with her lightsaber hanging off her belt and her hands resting on her sides. Her eyes were set upon the entrance of the hanger, from where she expected her counterpart would emerge.
