I realize that there's a lot more Jedi compared to Sith, but at the same time I'm a naturally good person at heart and I always feel guilty for even acting evil in RPs. I mean, I can't even watch crime shows without feeling really upset for the victims that get hurt in horrible ways. So the answer should be Jedi, right?
Well...I've also been told I'm decent at being the villain/anti-hero too, and I do have ideas on the Dark Side. The imbalance between the sides also bothers me, and I usually suck up my preferences to accommodate for what's needed rather than what I want. Once I find a groove, being darkside's a real blast and it has just as much potential as my Jedi storyline.
Buuut, being the indecisive noodle I am, I can't decide. If I do Jedi, most of it's already been developed and I'd really like to explore growth through the Force, and the background is something I'm super fond of. However, the motivation's kinda generic. But I love the struggles that they'd have gone through to reach knighthood. And finding a Padawan later would be fun too, especially with his set of morals and emotional baggage.
As for Sith, the background's extremely underdeveloped and requires more time and thought as I don't know that much about the Sith, but personality and motivations are solid. "The only difference between me and you is our point of view! Peace is an illusion--as long as individuality exists, there will never be harmony! Are you so blinded by your Force-given 'righteousness' that you can't see that? Or will you strike me down like the rest, a bloody knight preaching virtues of 'peace' while bodies hit the floor?" --probably a conversation that would happen while dueling a Jedi, bc I love being Extra. And I'm toying with the idea of getting power off of self-hatred?? How cool would that be
Help, I can't decide. :'T I love both but oh wow
