HoloNet News Jedi Secure Powerful Alliance With Ailon Nova Guard

The woman that sits at the desk wears a smile upon her face, her hair tied back as she looks toward the camera with that polite expression. The holonet flashes with images of a familiar and fortified world, none other than Ailon, home of a warrior-like people often compared to Mandalorians. A headline flashes across the screen as the woman begins her speech, "We've got breaking news from the Ailon system, home to the mighty Ailon Nova Guard. It seems that after a tense diplomatic conversation between both the Sith and the Jedi, the High Marshall has agreed to a formal alliance with The Jedi Order."

She pauses, draws in a breath, though the pleasant smile never leaves her face.

"According to comments from various locals we've spoken to, many seem pleased with the decision. One individual spoke that they preferred an alliance in which they would not have to be concerned about the rule of an Emperor. Another has stated that, despite recent disagreements with the Jedi Order and the rest of the galaxy, the honor of the Jedi appears to far outweigh that of the Sith." The woman looks down at a few papers upon her desk, and as she does, the Holonet flashes toward the face of the High Marshall before she goes on, "The High Marshall has stated that the powerful Ailon Nova Guard will assist in the training of Jedi forces, likely including the Resistance themselves."

The woman's smile seems to broaden at that.

"Undoubtedly, this is a welcome victory for the Jedi Order, which has suffered from a string of unfortunate events that has put them at odds with many governments across the galaxy. With the honorable and mighty Ailon Nova Guard bolstering their forces, defeating the Killik swarm seems closer than ever. I can't imagine the Sith will be particularly happy about this triumph, but after all the hard pills they've forced the Jedi to swallow," She pauses, smirks as she goes on, "Perhaps it's well deserved that the Empire receives a bit of it's own medicine."

And with that, the voice draws quiet, as the Holonet rolls footage of the Ailon Nova Guard, now firmly allied with The Jedi Order.

Alex smiled. A warm, genuine, heartfelt smile. The weight on her shoulders feeling a little lighter. Without thinking, she silenced the notifications on her datapad. Whatever drivel was spewing from Switter was of no concern. This was a true victory. One the Order desperately needed. The Ailon Nova Guard was well regarded and powerful. An incredible ally to fortify their position. Alex made a quick note to personally thank Jedi Axil. His convictions were clear, and they needed clarity more than ever. (@Sreeya)

The Morellian Jedi leaned back in her chair. What to say. She grabbed her datapad to being typing. “We are honored by the faith placed in us by the Ailon system, the High Marshall and the Nova Guard. As promised, we will fight as one against the greater threats of the galaxy…together in honor to protect the people of the galaxy.” She paused for a moment. Not quite good enough.

“Ask for us and we will come. If you suffer, we will ease your suffering. If you are defenseless, we will defend you. Whatever your burden, we will carry it. Republic, Free Worlds, Consortium, Imperial, or independent. It does not matter. We will come. Now and always.” Alex nodded, satisfied. She sent the messages to Alana to be carried to all major news networks. Now, she needed to find time to speak with Tazlen.
