Drow Venn sat in the makeshift war room of the Jedi Shadow's base on Ifrane. With much of his time having been devoted to maintaining his network of spies, raiding Sith ships, and tracking down the Sith exile known as Calix, he hadn't really had time to get to the "clean up war room" spot on his to-do list.
As such, there were still a plethora of crates and cobwebs lying about as the Shadows had been using it as makeshift storage while they all went on their respective missions. Separate missions were all well and good - Shadows worked best solo or in small teams - but the war was rapidly changing the status of the Jedi Order and Drow wanted to get his men together and talk strategy.
First Shadow he was but he didn't want to dictate any course of action without discussing It with his fellow Shadows. And it had been so long since they'd held a meeting altogether. His loyal, if belligerent droid held up a holoprojection of the galactic atlas.
"Come on...find a chair if you can, grab a crate if not...there's room in the back..." Drow began, ushering in the last of the stragglers.
"Shadows, we're all busy so let's keep this brief and productive. We all know the war has been going a bit south of late and we need to put a hurting on the Sith. I want volunteers, I want ideas, and I want you to come back alive from whatever it is we decide to do." Drow told them, emphasizing the last sentence. Too many had been lost already.
"So let's talk. We've all been out in the galaxy in different ways so let's hear some progress reports. Where do we think the Sith are weakest? What do we see as the best way to attack them? And who do we want spearheading that attack?" Drow asked the assembled Shadows. Officially, he may be their leader but on a big operation like what he was thinking, he wouldn't dare dictate such a mission without getting feedback from everyone first.
