No worries. I will ask the player for permission before writing what their character's emotional state is. (it can only be used for reading surface emotions from what I've read, not thoughts. So she might sense they are anxious or angry, I think that's about all.)

It annoys me a great deal that people even give a crap about midichlorians and don't just ignore them. My other char has a mention of midichlorians and nobody cares, which is good. Why all the hate all of a sudden?

It is nothing against you. Midichlorians are just the most hated concept in the whole Star Wars franchise.

There was no mention of them in the first trilogy (4-6) and there didn't need to be. When they turned up in episode 1, it felt like they'd just been shoved in there to explain way what seemed like a plot hole but was actually just some of the mystery (films need mystery). It means that Jedi are inherently special. It takes away from the feeling that belief in the force and adequate training could allow anyone to use the Force. They prevent the viewer from feeling like they could be the protagonist.

I'm sure some people will disagree but this is how I see it.
