Alliance With The Republic
After the attack on Tython, @Fyreleader created the thread titled "Alliance Resurgent," where in Sihkar and Vosrik met up with him in order to formalize an alliance with the Republic in-story. All of you who are on skype likely already know about this, but I felt it wise to point it out in here as well! We got friends, friends. They're going to be sending aid to help rebuild the Temple of Tython, and you'll all be working together in battles and such from now on. Y'all should start getting ideas together about mission redundancy and stuff like that between the two of you as well. Like, it's 2v1, Jedi and Republic vs. the Sith. If you start planning out stuff and exploiting the rules in the process to keep them on their toes and never let them take a planet easily then there's no way the Sith can win...or at the very least they'll never rest easy.

New AFLs/Farewell To A Former One
Earlier in the month, our friend Lucy resigned from her role as AFL due to various reasons. I'm sure all of you people running around with padawans who have masters all of a sudden know the work she put in to keeping all of you little butts happy and able to RP, so it's only appropriate to include a goodbye to her in all of this.

However, @Raydo and @Richie B. have both been promoted to AFLs in her absence as well as that of @Ferre, who is still...AFL Emeritus, is what his title is right now. Raydo has experience as faction leadership and he's done well in the role before, and Richie has an obvious zeal for the faction, and they'll certainly be able to help in the transition period that will be arising due to...

My Resignation
Yeah, this is happening. I'm sure none of you are surprised, because I've never hidden the fact that I would leave this role eventually, considering how I had actually been planning on leaving the Jedi prior to Bauren's resignation and my assumption of the role of FL. I'm glad to see that we've relatively stabilized compared to where we were a few months ago when I first took on the role of FL, but now - for numerous reasons, most of which being due to real life draining my time I can afford to the site - I'm going to be stepping down from the position. And unlike my other former FLs who've done so, I'm going to include this as just a small part of a big announcement because I can. #DealWithIt

Closing Thoughts
It was good while it lasted, wasn't it, fam? Even though I wasn't active enough. But hey, I had FLs to do all my work for me. Also we have a new group of ships (and @Vosrik is currently working on a description for a few more before adding them to our technology page) and an official enclave on Dantooine now. If you guys haven't checked those out yet you should. Also thanks to @Bauren for having been the person to originally make those write-ups a long time ago. I'm just the one who pestered the admins into approving it.

Also, now, I'm not able to officially name a successor, you all get to vote and stuff, but my personal recommendation is @Vosrik as next FL. He's done a lot of good work and he was always the one I wanted to take over eventually anyways. =D

Also go read the threads "Changing of the Guard" to see the last interaction between Sihkar and Vosrik and "The Duellist's Repose" to see the end of Sihkar's life once that's all written out.

It'll totes be cool.
