The capital of Naboo was unlike any other city Amilthi had ever seen. It was, simply, unbelievably beautiful. The old town had a remarkable architectural without any of the sterile feel that often evoked, and there probably wasn't a single spot anywhere from which one couldn't see a tree. She had spent yesterday exploring Theed, taking in the wonderfully peaceful atmosphere, and this alone had been worth the trip. Amilthi had never been here, but wanted to visit for a while. Tatooine, where she lived these days, was connected to it on by a hyperspace route, but it still hadn't been a direct flight. It wasn't easy to find someone who went were you were going and who ready to take you aboard without expecting significant payment in the Outer Rim, even if being a pretty girl increased your chances. It had taken her two days in total, but she had managed to get by with what little money she had and avoid manipulating anyone's mind through the Force, though one could hardly say that she had even tried to refrain from manipulating them otherwise.
Now it was a late afternoon, but after the time lag from Mos Espa, it was really only noon to her. That wasn't even annoying, as the city was still beautiful at night, and mostly just as lively, and furthermore very safe. Amilthi was leisurely walking down a street that would lead her to a lake, at whose shore there was a café where she was supposed to meet someone. She was rather proud of herself for doing this. Writing to people and asking for a meeting when you had never spoken to them in person was not expected and often considered weird; sometimes creepy, though with her being a woman, that hardly applied. But she had done it anyway, and across half the galaxy, too.
Amilthi had no trouble finding the café and sat down outside in a wicker chair, allowing her to view the square and, behind it, the lake, which, despite being in the middle of a city, was amply surrounded by trees. Prompted by the waiter's inquiry after a minute, she ordered a hot chocolate and folded her hands in her lap, looking around expectantly, before having her attention attracted by a group of water fowl landing in the water near the shore of the lake.
