Another most typical day for the Jedi Order. Raise your lightsticks and whack the life out of others. Just fine for Bacilla, although she probably shouldn't have had a late night last night. Half-groaning, Bacilla knew that her fight was coming up. Standing up from a bench, Bacilla stretched her arms and legs before trying to wipe away some fatigue from her eyes.

Either way, she knew she had to go now. Every time she was aboard 'The Will of the Force', she still held one thought. What a huge freaking ship. Even for her, who had seen and been aboard the vast majestic ships of the Empire, the Jedi flagship certainly held something that those others could not match.

Bacilla wore what she typically did, having presumed that wearing a spiked suit of Sith armour would probably have been poor 'bladesmanship'. So it was her black robes, tight fitting as always, and without a needless cloak. Her sabers were on her belt, one of standard length and another a shoto.

"Lucky lucky me, I get a real man to fight!" Bacilla grinned, playfully teasing the fellow knight she was about to face.

''A gentleman Bacilla, how many times do I have to tell you!''

Christian wagged his finger in mock annoyance before grinning at the women, he knew the will of the force like that back of his hand but he was still a little late.

He just couldn't help himself when he came across engineers working on little toys throughout the ship and Christian took it all in, then swiftly forgot it but the love and enthusiasm was still there.

''So, we are going to have a duel to the death with no killing eh?!''

“Oh yes, certainly, if you are lucky enough for me to remember that rule.” Bacilla smirked, advancing into the ‘ring’ that had been prepared for the occasion. Hopefully, it would be fast! Volatile! Explosive!

Otherwise, there was nothing duller than a slugfest between two Jedi adopting defensive measures. With two simultaneous hisses, the magenta blade of standard length and the blue shoto blade emerged from their respective hilts. Nevertheless, there was a difference between not wanting to waste time to rushing forward blindly.

With her knees bent and feet preparing to explode from their position on the cold flooring, Bacilla observed the gentleman in front of her. Well, ready or not, if she was called for an early strike she’d simply apologise and they could restart. Grinning, Bacilla focused her mind on Christian’s right ankle, a rush of force currents attempting to wrench it backwards and into the air, seeking to make the knight topple over completely and to fall on his face.

If Christian had spent time activating his lightsaber then he most likely would of been pitched over head over bottom onto the floor, thankfully he had a hunch she might try something quick and brutal which she did.

Christian sidestepped to the side taking his ankle away just leaving air, he didn;t quite do it with as much dignity as he hoped because it included a slight stumble but he avoided the attack.

He activated his lightsaber with a flourish, he had a double edged blade but just activated one side as he took up a basic position of Makashi.

''You rouge you!''

So it was on, and Bacilla was not going to waste any more time. With large steps and a wide grin, Bacilla stormed towards Christian. Seemed like the typical sneaky force route wouldn't go ahead too well, so it was blade to blade, fist to fist, and hopefully not teeth to teeth.

Using a bit more bounce in her last step, Bacilla shot forward, her left foot pushing off the ground giving her some considerable speed to boot. Making sure not to jump into air and becoming a still target, she struck forward with her standard saber in her right hand. Dealing a diagonal cut into Christian's left flank, Bacilla kept her shoto at hand in a reverse grip.

The moment enough force was put in to perform the cut, she punched forward with the shoto, deciding to take full advantage of her two blades. The shoto sliced forward vertically, the blade heading straight for the knight's head, at an angle so that Christian would not be able to easily deflect both strikes of awkward angles with his current single blade.

Hit or not, Bacilla would swiftly retreat, once she got a better understanding of the knight's bladework.

Christian was a swordman and a guardian of the order, he had spent his training time learning the intricate nature of lightsaber combat and hence why he studied Makashi and it was all about position, leverage then taking the advantage.

He had a strong defensive position and as she attacked he had his blade across his body and deflected the blow against his left side with a gentle flick away from his body, he would not waste energy but keep it stored for when he had a chance.

He expected the attack from the Shoto as it had been ignited for a reason, Christian jerked his head back, feeling the heat of the blade on his face but he attacked as soon as the shoto had gone past his head.

He had a height and strength advantage over his opponent so brought his blade high up into the air, bringing it down with a strong double handed smash aimed squarely at her head.

It was controlled, not using the over the top movements of Djem sho but controlled with elegance.

If he wanted to use his length, she'd use it against him. The moment Bacilla registered that her shoto wouldn't meet it's mark, she leaned in, bringing her body both closer to Christian as well as closer to the ground. The more awkward for him to aim, the better. Exchanging power blows wasn't her specialty, so Bacilla went for the other route.

Springing forward and keeping low to Christian's right, Bacilla avoided the incoming blow, careful not to trip herself over her own legs. As she moved, so too did her right saber, the violet blade in a serpentine motion as it streaked for Christian's right thigh. With her shoto, she jabbed towards his right ribcage. Once done, Bacilla would attempt to maintain close proximity with Christian, determined not to let him establish a comfortable position.

Her shoto remained in a guard, while the rest of her stayed low.

Christian grimaced as he bluntly hit his saber into the attack at his thigh, his blade smashed into hers with the idea to throw her off balance with his strength, if she was trying to get close she still needed to hit him with blows so Christian would put his strength into any defensive gestures.

He used a classic Makashi flick away from his body to deflect the blow from her smaller blade away from his body and he was on her quickly hoping his strong block from her main blade had put her off balance, so with a one handed thrust he sent the blade straight and hopefully true towards her shoulder.

Bacilla grunted as her intended knee strike was bashed away. Her successive blow too was intercepted before reaching her target. Falling away slightly due to the man's counter, Bacilla gave herself a tiny pinch more time to react to the jab. In a pulling motion, Bacilla used the shoto to sweep Christian's blade to his right, keeping her blade in contact to force it out of use. Risky, she knew, for Makashi was certainly deadly in it's counters. Nevertheless, she used her speed now, and her active and volatile style was certainly nothing if she couldn't even chain together combinations.

Stomping forward with her right leg, Bacilla blasted a wave of force currents projected from her feet, forming a shockwave that would envelop the near vicinity. She slashed vertically downwards with her violet saber, intending to score a solid hit on Christian if the shockwave had managed to throw him off his feet or at least cause him to be too disoriented to fend off her immediate strikes in conjunction.
