Sector Ranger Station, Corellia
The attack on the Ranger station had sent a shockwave through the Galaxy. For someone to have the daring to attack the Sector Rangers, and on Corellia at that, in the very heart of the Free Worlds Alliance. It was unheard off, and it didn't take a Jedi to notice the effect it was having on people. This would spread fear, and that fear would feed the Dark Side. Even if these so called Knights of Ren were mere pretenders, they would know how to feed on that darkness.
They had to act, and act fast. The only way was to find these Knights of Ren, and stop them once and for all. But the fact of the matter was that the Jedi simply didn't have the resources, or the know how, to effectively track them down. But the Rangers did, just like the Jedi probably knew more than them about confronting dark siders. So it made sense for them to work together to deal with this Ren situation.
The idea of the Rangers and the Jedi working together had been floated a few times, it made too much sense for people to have not thought about it. But for one reason or another, it hadn't happened so far. It was her understanding that the Jedi hadn't kicked off on the best of terms with the Rangers, and a bad first impression could go a long way. But that was some time ago, and things were different now. It was time to make this formal.
She had made an appointment and made it to the station, but had found the place in a state of chaos. "Lieutenant Aran?" She asked as she walked up to the woman who seemed to be in the midst of all activity, seemingly coordinating the relocation from the attacked station to a new location. She didn't even need to stop anyone to ask for the woman, it had been easy to recognize her face from her appearances on the holonet, and she seemed to like to be in the thick of things. "I'm," she paused as she stepped out of the way to let some officers walk out of the building with a pile of boxes, "I'm..." she had to move again as someone barked at her to get out of the way as they passed by pushing a trolley loaded with equipment. "I'm your two o'clock, should I just come back another time?"
