[Kouta]

Kouta, having missed his attack, spun around in the opposite direction of Jerek, slamming his elbow into his hand, other then send a nice sharp pain up his arm, it stops jerek's spinning attack. Taking half a step closer, becoming too close tor Jereks saber to be of any real use, he thrust an uppercut towards Jerek's gut, between his arms. THinking ahead, if Jerek were to use his arm to block the uppercut, Kouta would sent a quick jab to his neck, exploiting the opening that blocking the uppercut would create.

OOC: if you havent noticed, so far i've used a mix of Muay thai and ninjitsu lol and that elbow to the hand was technically a block lol not a strike

 

[Jerek Odres]

One of Jerek's hands were hit, but what was good about being ambidextrous, was that you could use both hands equally. Jerek's left hand was hit, but seeing as his original hand was the right, he was in no trouble of losing his lightsaber. His right hand was moved to the right and left hands was hit to the left, however the Padawan got a firm grip on his lightsaber. When Kouta stepped closer, Jerek stepped closer and quickly enough to make sure that there room for Kouta to perform his uppercut. Now they were both chest to chest, so as a move that Jerek does not perform often, Jerek headbutt Kouta in the face. Luckily the place he hit was not hard enough to hurt himself too much, but it was most likely Kouta's nose.

Doing the most logical thing, Jerek stepped towards Kouta, being chest to chest. A little surprised by Jerek's sudden attack, Kouta wasn't given much time to react, so he did the only thing he could, Kouta dropped his head slightly, both of their foreheads smashing together. Kouta used that small connection to lift up his arms and clinch Jerek's head, or using both of his arms to pull Jerek to his chest. Shortly thereafter, Kotua unleashed a relentless assault of knee's to Jerek's chest and head. It is difficult to block, but not impossible, it is even harder to break out Kouta's grip, however, as the hold mixed with the attacks maked for an effective combo.

From the headbutt, Jerek picked up Kouta in an attempt to throw him with his great upper body strength. Kouta at this time had his arms clinched to Jerek's head. Jerek thought he was probably going to try a body shot, but the time for this was too late. High up in the air, there was little leverage to gain from Jerek's short hair. Then Jerek realized that Kouta would be able to try and attack with a kick or a punch. Realizing this, as soon as Kouta was up in the air enough, he was quickly thrown to make sure he had no chance to retaliate.

Kouta, being tossed by Jerek's superior brute strength, landed lightly on his feet. Kouta nodded, clipping Jerek in the chin with his knee, as he was more focused on throwing Kouta then defending himself. "I'm sorry to tell you my friend, but in a martial bout, the faster and more agile will almost always win." Kouta stated with much truth in his words. "Have i not proven my point? standing up against you, who are not only armed, but well trained as well. As for now, however..." Kouta bowed at Jerek, "I believe i've learned all i can from you in regards to this bout." he finished, walking over to his blades, sheathing them on his back. "One day my friend, i need to show you where the real blademaster's train." he smiled, "I may be no master, but you won't find much better of a place then Nar Shadaa."

Jerek Odres meanwhile was rearranging his chin. If he had used any other force powers besides a minor force jump, the fight would have been over quickly. Jerek was disappointed in his opponent's pride. Pride would be the very death of him if he was not careful. If only Jerek had used Force Speed in combination with Farsight; in which his defense would be impenetrable and offense unbreakable. However due to the fact that the Padawan was not truly fighting Hiroke Kouta, Jerek did not use his powers. Jerek gave a cautionary warning, "You do not full know what I am capable of, or your opponent is capable of. Pride leads to underestimation in which you could be killed. If I had used the force at all, we would not have been at a tie. Remember that your opponent may be more powerful than you know." Jerek disabled his blue training lightsaber and put it back onto his belt. Sitting down, Jerek relaxed and began to meditate. In his meditation, Jerek began to float as his he and his Padawan braid began to rise in the air.

"Once more you misinterpret me my friend." Kouta shook his head, "You do not think that i had that in mind the whole time?" he asked Jerek. "THis should have been as much as a learning experience for you as it was for me. You and other jedi know that using the force, much less a lightsaber may not be wise, nor even possible. Now, i could have still fought you, even if you had used more of your powers. Forsight can be easily countered, as well as push, lift, and almost every other physical ability."

HE turned back and faced Jerek, speaking as he meditated. "Did it not occur to you that i may have been holding back as well? Or, if i may, did the fact that i was not even a padawan place you in a state of mind that i was fighting all out just to merely keep up with you?" Kouta asked, "Do not get me wrong, I am, by any means, not trying to put you down, or state that i am somehow superior, Just that you need to heed your own warnings. Remember that your opponent may be more powerful then you guess." he finished, allowing Jerek peace. Making his way to the wall, he lent back on it, still unsure when he may be able to speak to a master.
