STRENGTH: Being a former Sith Crusader Warrior, Joshu’s strength is Considerable, his brutal training with The Sith and his missions for the order have made him a powerful individual and a great asset in a fight. He has been referred to as a balanced fighter relying on a mixture of strength and agility to outmatch an opponent instead of beating them down with brute force. (70/100)
DEXTERITY: As nimble as he is strong Joshu fights swiftly and effectively as he was taught to. He was taught to strike hard and fast and as such he has learned how to be quite agile. (65/100)
CONSTITUTION: Being raised in the slums of Bastion has meant that Joshu has often had it tough, this was not made any easier when taken to the Sith Academy, the harsh training and cruel nature of the Sith lead Joshu to develop a proverbial and literal tough hide. (87/100)
INTELLIGENCE: unfortunately Joshu’s intelligence is lacking, for much of his life he has blindly followed the ways of The Sith, doing what he was told and not often questioning the way things are. He recent quest for wisdom has led to him becoming quite questioning of The Sith ways and it led him to defy them. He still is clueless to the ways of the galaxy but he is trying. (44/100)
WISDOM: Lacking the wisdom he desires is what drove Joshu away from The Sith, he knows little about the galaxy and it’s ways knowing only what he has experienced leading him to be foolish and brash though he is seeking guidance to learn the wisdom of the Jedi. (51/100)
CHARISMA: Raised strictly as a warrior impacted Joshu’s personality greatly and therefore he suffers in social situations, he is extremely blunt, cold and difficult to talk to. These personality traits are only made more prominent when considering the wide array of emotional problems Joshu suffers from. (35/100)
PERSONALITY:
Joshua is a stern and serious individual with no levity or humour about him. This nature makes it difficult for others to get close to him something he is thankful for due to his past as a Sith filling him with guilt and regret at his taking of Jedi lives. Being full of guilt for his past, Joshua suffers from depression and schizophrenic episodes, often hearing hateful voices in his head. He also struggles to identify the voices as coming from himself or his fellow Jedi leading him to being very reclusive. Although a dark and serious person Joshu is trying to become at peace with himself through his training with the Jedi, he seeks wisdom and the guidance of his elders so as to become a better person, a concept at times he still struggles with. Joshu is a very blunt person with little to no tact, he is brutally honest and lacks a filter often making him appear aggressive, something again he is trying to work on.
Despite his difficult nature Joshu does have some softer qualities about him. He cares very much for his new family despite not showing it. He is eternally grateful for the forgiveness he has been shown and therefore he has made a vow to protect each and every Jedi with his own life if needed. To relax Joshu can often be found reading playing music or gardening, something which has endeared him to certain members of the Jedi order. Even though he does have this softer side few ever get to see it.
BIOGRAPHY:
Joshu Pladata was born in the slums of Bastion. He spent much of his childhood with his scavenger parents searching for his next meal or his next place to sleep, it wasn’t until his sixth birthday that his life began to take on greater meaning. Joshu began exhibiting strange behaviours, entering trance like states and exhibiting physical prowess far above what his age should be capable of, something that scared his parents and lead them to attempt to keep him hidden. However these strange behaviours were indicators of a force sensitive child, something the Sith order had somehow picked up on. Within months Joshu’s parents were captured and slaughtered before his very eyes. And Joshu was sent to a Sith training facility nearby. Fueled by the hatred for the man that killed his Parents Joshu was put into a strict and brutal training regime conditioning him into becoming a Sith warrior.
As an Acolyte, Joshu demonstrated from very early on that he possessed a great potential, he was a natural with a lightsaber and though unrefined his raw power over the force was something to be scared of. He showed great prowess throughout his training and due to the hatred he felt towards the man that killed his parents he fully embraced The Sith philosophy of passion and hatred fuelling your power. Within a few years of beginning his training The Sith were having doubts about Joshu and his motives, and whether or not he could be an effective weapon. To make sure of his allegiances Joshu was issued with a test. He was presented with the man who killed his parents (still working for The Sith) Joshu killed the man solidifying him as a sith and completing his training at 17 years old making Joshu one of the youngest Sith Crusaders in recent years.
For years Joshu carried out missions in the name of The Sith and the new galactic empire, killing Jedi and rebels alike, due to his combat prowess he was most often placed into battlefield situations more often than not fighting in the thick of battle. The Sith did not think he was suitable for more delicate missions, something which would later ring true. When sent into darker operations Joshu began to suffer feelings of doubt about the Sith. He would experience missions in which he was ordered to kill civilians to pacify the public. He was also sent on a mission to slaughter children something he could not bring himself to do. With him proving to be a powerful weapon but with The Sith lacking confidence in him after failing to execute a mission Joshu was selected to join a higher ranking member of The Sith order on a mission. The mission was to hunt down a Jedi master. Having killed Jedi before Joshu assumed this would be of no difficulty but whilst travelling to the mission location Joshu found himself with intense feelings of guilt and remorse as he began to think back on all his missions and on whether or not he was right in his actions. When he and the other Sith arrived to carry out the mission Joshu was insure on whether he was capable of killing anymore. It transpired that they had arrived at a Jedi temple used for the training of children. This only intensified Joshu’s doubt. He and the older with were met at the gates by a Jedi master telling his students to run. As they did this The Sith brought the building down on top of them killing all inside. The Jedi and Sith began to do battle while Joshu simply looked at the debris in awe. He could not belief what had happened, that his order could be so evil. Instinctively Joshu activated his lightsaber and pierced it through the back of the Sith he was accompanying. He told the Jedi to run and he apologised for all his actions before He and his former comrade began to do battle. Thought he had been pierced with a lightsaber, somehow the Sith put up a huge fight against Joshu. Though eventually Joshu came out supreme ultimately killing the Sith agent. Upon conclusion of the fight Joshu broke down and the Jedi emerged from hiding. Joshu had resigned imself to his fate and remained on his knees as the Jedi approached. He prayed for the Jedi to end his suffering and give him his due punishment. However the Jedi offered him redemption. If Joshu were to train as a Jedi to honor the fallen children he would be redeemed. Joshu agreed and decided to go with the Jedi and to this day is attempting to make up for the evil he has done.

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Combat Prowess – Raised by The Sith in a life of training, Joshu is extremely adept at both unarmed and lightsaber based combat making him a difficult opponent to face for anyone.
Independence – Both an strength and a weakness Joshu is very independent preferring to go about work on his own. He feels he works better alone and it will prevent him from getting anybody killed. Thought this can work against as he will often refuse help.
Inability to kill- Due to his crisis of faith and confrontation with his former master Joshu seems to have lost his killing edge and despite proving a match for his opponents he will no longer go for a killing blow instead choosing to incapacitate or disarm an opponent which could lead to his defeat.
