Journey's End Tavern - Mandalore
*No Death - Open the mainly Mandalorians and their allies - Probably not best to act a fool in a bar far of bounty hunters/warriors*

Journey's End was, like the rest of Mandalorian Society, rough. It was no small feat to bring together some of the most competitive/deadly warriors in the galaxy under the same roof and end the night with the building still standing. This had become a neutral place for Mandalorians to come and meet. Clan Politics and alliances were left at the door. Here, Mandalorians were just Mandalorians.

Of course, there was a fighting pit here if things needed to be worked out between two parties, but the rules were strict. For those that acted out, their stay was short-lived.

Varus had come to meet another Mandalorian in Clan Wren. He had got a rumor of job and was looking for a hand. Not that he wasn't capable, but part of the art of Bounty Hunting was realizing when it was best to bring in an extra blaster or two to get it done. He hadn't actually met the woman before, but he was familiar with her. He wanted to get a feeling for her before he risked his life on a job with her.

This place was perfect for that, though Varus wasn't a fan of the heat. In reality, it wasn't all that warm, but compared to Krownest it was pretty hot.

He ordered a drink. The bar contained just about any Mandalorian drink that was known, the clans often competed in this as well to make the most popular alcohol. All of it was strong and not for the weak stomached.

He tapped his foot absently on the ground as he waited.

Mandalore, the city of angels, so to speak, as only their culture believed in the Manda and for life after one's passing. Perhaps the other cultures did too, but who gave a rat's ass about them? No, despite being affiliated with a crime syndicate and likely shoot on sight if a Kryze saw him, the enforcer didn't think too much about it. Afterall, Journey's End had always been neutral and he saw no reason that it would change now. Besides, life on an edge was a life worth living; dressed in his customized red and black beskar'gam, the Pantoran sauntered into the bar. Shriek-Hawk was left at home though his side arm was neatly stowed away on his left hip. Fully armored, blue flesh was still not visible as it lay hidden underneath their traditional T visor though he was distinctly recognizable, save for the feared Mythosaur sigil emblazzed on his breast plate.

Red Skull Gang members roamed these parts and even frequented some of the establishments. Perhaps there would be trouble, but any Mandalorian daring enough to do so, would know the stakes at hand. Despite all these dangers, he wasn't really in a mood to fight but rather drink and party. And so, he grabbed the first available seat at the bar, considering the crowd there were only a few vacant ones left. Cigarra loosely hanging from his lips as he removed the helm, showing his Pantoran lineage to all those that cared look at him. Two double shots of Vodka came shortly after, it was a long day and he was exceptionally thirsty. After finishing one of them, his head turned to the left and glanced at the Mandalorian next to him. @Raydo

He noticed Varus' foot tapping, a chuckle coming to his face. "What's the matter friend, getting a little anxious are we?"

Good old Mandalore, it felt good being back on familiar territory again, especially around those who could handle themselves. Xaria had been away for too long, having been around too many cocky bastards without spines lately, so, it felt good to be among her own people again. Having recently landed she pushed open the door to the Journey's End Tavern with her right hand and her helmet under her left arm as she stepped inside. Giving a nod here and there to familiar faces and those of whom she didn't recognize as part of Clan Wren.

Making her way up to the bar she glanced around to see if the contact she had talked to about a potential bounty had showed up already and it seemed that he had, spotting a vaguely familiar man sitting at the bar with a drink in hand she figured it didn't hurt if she mistook someone for being someone else.

Avoiding someone who had had a bit much to drink she made her way to the counter and sat her helmet down on it and waved to the bartender ordering a drink as well. With the order placed she didn't have to wait too long before the glass was placed before her as she took a swig from it, turning to the man to her right, getting the first look of him up close now as she moved her head so that she could see him with her still functioning eye. "Varus Wren, right?" She asked with a raised, split right brow.

"So, what's this bounty that you mentioned?" Xaria asked as she faced forward again, taking another swig of her drink. There was a few questions circulating in her head, mostly what kind of person it was that had the bounty on them and what had warranted a bounty in the first place, though she wasn't one to argue the reasoning behind it, she just collected the target and then collected the payment, who or what it was didn't really matter much to her, as long as the credits kept coming and the bounties kept stacking up, she had no reason to complain.

Turning her head slightly towards Varus again she tried to figure out why he looked somewhat familiar, she must have seen him some time in the past, before the incident on Nar Shaddaa at least, which had given her the scar that now adorned her face.

He eyed the Pantoran and shrugged off the comment. He assumptions were off, Varus was relaxed enough, perhaps not used to sitting still for very long indoors. He preferred to be outside, away from the crowds if at all possible, but that was only a mere preference. "Not in the slightest...friend." he said eying the Pantorans armor. There was no symbol of a clan on his armor. While it was not a requirement, something was off about the fellow. Surely no one would be foolish enough to don Mandalorian armor while not being a Mandalorian in a place such as this.

He didn't pay it too much thought as he turned to the woman who sat beside him. "Aye." he said as she sat. "You must be Xaria." he said smiling. He ordered the next round of drinks for the both of them. "Lets move somewhere a bit less noisey." he said as he stood. He laid a credit chip down on the bar counter. It would pay for their drinks.

They were apart of the same clan, but Clan Wren was large enough where not everyone knew each other personally sometimes, especially those who tended to stay away from Krownest more than the rest. He had no doubt she was a capable warrior, otherwise she would have never been accepted into the clan.

He headed over to a small table in the corner of the room and took a small datapad and handed it to Xaria. He was careful to make sure she only had eyes on it. Their target was likely on the other side of the Galaxy, but still didn't want to tip off any other potential competition.

"Could get a bit messy." he said shrugging as he settled back.

As the fellow Wren to her side turned his attention to her and inquired about her name she tilted her head slightly to the side in a shrugging motion. Raising her glass to her lips she kicked her head back and downed the glass just as Varus ordered another round for her, she didn't complain, she had come to the Journey's end for two reasons, get drunk and get started on a bounty, and so far, the latter was seemingly done and the former was only starting. As her Clan brother paid for their drinks and said they should sit down elsewhere she nodded and grabbed the new drink along with her helmet, gripping it tightly with her left hand as she glanced at the Pantoran she had seemingly missed. "Blue." She said with a nod as she followed Varus past a few other customers and avoided a toppling chair as she followed him towards the corner of the Cantina.

Placing her helmet on the table she sat her drink down beside it and took a seat, watching as he fetched and handed her a datapad from somewhere. Taking the datapad she angled it away from the closest person and looked at the image on the wanted poster. She looked Human, or near-human, it was hard to tell with some races and she had never been good at separating them from each other either. Scrolling through it however she noted the name and then the species. Her eyes turned back up towards Varus, "Messy? Good." She said and looked back down at the datapad, scrolling further down, Vjun, it wasn't exactly a stone throw away from where they were now either. Reaching out with her left hand she took the glass and sipped her drink, the stinging sensation of the alcohol in her mouth and throat made her smirk as she looked back up at him. "You don't happen to be between twenty and twenty one, do you?" She pushed the Datapad back to him and shifted the glass from her left hand to her right.

"I'm in." Was all that she said as she took another swig of her second drink and emptied the glass, placing the now empty glass on the table again she looked at him. "When do you want to leave and how much of a noise do you want to make when we arrive?" Xaria asked with a smirk, she had heard a few things about Anzat, though she had always thought they'd be more alien looking and not like they could blend in with Humans, it amped up the difficulty a bit, but hey, there was no fun with a bounty who just sat around and waited for someone to come and pick them up from the street.

Another difficulty spike would be her last spotted location, Vjun, if her memory served her right, it was a few systems deep into Imperial space, though which faction of the Empire controlled it she wasn't sure, but, that fact was probably enough to scare away a few other bounty hunters from picking her up, so, the competition would most likely not be too high.

She cast a glance over towards the Pantoran back at the bar, then turned her attention back to Varus. "He with you?" She wasn't sure if he had been hit up regarding the bounty either, but if he wanted to bring another person along, she didn't mind, he could be used as bait after all.

He chuckled, leaning back in his chair. "Not quite." he laughed again. "I'm afraid I am a bit old for this one." he said. "but thanks." he added. He was glad she was in. This would be a difficult fight, especially if they were going to take her alive, which he wanted to. They would have time to think of a plan on the way to Vjun. "Great" he responded, finishing the last of his drink before lowing the empty glass to the table.

He usually preferred the more direct, loud approach, but if they were too loud on this one they would risk spooking their target away. It could be impossible to catch her until she resurfaced after that. They would need to lure her in, and then attack quickly and end it.
First, they would need to get on the ground and do some digging and then go from there.

"I am ready to leave now." he said. He wouldn't have asked to meet if he wasn't but understood if Xaria had business to attend to first. This would be their best shot and if they didn't move quickly, they may lose her to another hunter. Varus hated losing. "You ready?" he asked.

He looked back over his shoulder at the Pantoran and rolled his eyes a bit. He wasn't sure about it him, he seemed to be pretty confident himself, maybe even too confident in himself with the way he carried himself. "Not with me but we will need bait...what do you think?" he asked turning back to Xaria. They could just as easily find some random kid of Vjun, and liquor him up enough to trip the trap and let them swoop down and take out their target.

The person should be safe enough.
