Trodai looked, observing it all as fire, bone and flesh were used as weapons of war. As each combatant vyed for supremacy over the other. He saw how Cyutadakr fell to the floor defeated and yet Karys let her live. A rival and potential risk. Showed a weakness that could be exploited by those around.

He both observed and felt it as Cyutadakr was stripped of the Force. Something he had never before witnessed...and watched in awe. Both intimidated and awestruck at once. And then he looked upon the fallen. Where once had been a proud, strong Sith. Lay a Pureblood, severed of their symbiotic connection. A punishment worse than death for any of their kind. For now they were both considered 'Failure' he recalled was the word in their language at what Tempest had spoken, and Grotthu. Slave.

Trodai considered the irony of it...how she had once compared him to a Grotthu and now here she was, suffering that very fate.

He looked as Azar was forced to face the Dark Lord. He wasn't sure what was going on, but she wasn't happy. He kept quiet, and as Azar approached, listened and offered a curt bow as he left. He wondered just what he was thinking. Guy was probably in turmoil. He had helped him once, Trodai figured it was his time to return the favour. And so he faced Khlan and Caerllion.

"Well that was...interesting. I have learnt much, Master. If I may take my leave. I must make plans and prepare for Korriban."

With that he offered a curt bow, and made his own exit. He had much to prepare and a Sith'ari to look after.

Anai had been watching carefully as everything developed, silently rooting for Karys as he took yet another step towards becoming a great sith. However, much like the other influence in his life, the Kaleesh couldn't help but disapprove of his hesitation. Yet, could she blame him? Pethaps she too would've had her doubts, had she been in his shoes, but that didn't mean that it wouldn't be perceived as some sort of weakness by the Order as a whole, a small stain in his otherwise perfect reputation. But it was fine, Anai would help him get over it one way or the other, she just needed to figure out how.

However, even after the fight concluded, even after Tempest displayed her great power once more by punishing the former sith master with a fate worse than death, there was still one more thing Anai could do. This battle had happened for many reasons, but ultimately, it started because of an acolyte, and thus, there was a lesson to be learnt. As Karys' friend, she decided to help him impart such a lesson, given how he would not be able to do so himself until his wounds healed.

So, Anai approached Karys' acolyte, Vossari (@Fine Dining Set), using the force to put out any lingering flames he may have had trouble completely extinguishing, had there been any "Stand up, acolyte, and pay your respects to your victorious master" She stated, extending her hand to help him get up "Look at his wounds and realize that they were caused by you as much as they were caused by her." Anai said, looking at the man in the eyes with a cold gaze "Think what your fate would've been should he have been struck down."

What would happen to an acolyte that got his master into a fight resulting in his death? Anai would let Vossari think about that, moving away as she let him deal with the thoughts she had hopefully planted in his head. Knowing Karys, Vossari would be taught this lesson better in the future, but she would at least do Karys the favour of helping him reflect on his actions beforehand.

Karys didn’t feel any response from Cyutadakyr. He stared at her belly for a few more moments. He’d prepared himself to destroy her, to destroy his child if need be, but in the moment he couldn’t. His dream, the thought of he and Azar raising this child on their own, it was too overwhelming.

Karys’ hand fell the the concrete.

He was exhausted. His body screamed in agony as adrenaline faded from his system. His vision and mind were becoming cloudy as Tempest rose from her throne. He could feel the Dark Side rush to her call, he could feel a pulse, and then Cyutadakyr’s presence blinked out from the Force.

It was a haunting sensation that he didn’t understand. He also didn’t care. Cyutadakyr had earned her fate, whatever it might be.

As Karys’ pain continued to spike, his vision would continue to blur and mind dull. He turned to Azar for comfort, Karys knew he’d be coming soon. He wouldn’t leave him like this. He wouldn’t abandon him.

Karys felt Azar’s pain, it rippled through their connection as Tempest’s ire turned upon him. Fear gripped him as eyes almost too exhausted to stay open fluttered back to life. He’d watch as Azar dropped to his knee, he’d watch as Azar gazed back at him. Concern flooded through him, Karys’ hand that laid on the floor opened, extending towards Azar. Karys knew he’d come to him as soon as he could, Azar would pull his head into his lap and tell him what an idiot he was. They’d argue about him not killing the child but Karys could explain, Karys cou-

Azar began to walk away though.

Panic bleached Karys’ system as the man he loved turned away from him. His fading mind screamed through a thousand questions but only one broken word slipped through their connection before unconsciousness claimed him.

Why?

The woman would retract her offer when things went from feral three way to one on one. Serene watched intently as the two fought one another. As blow after blow was made and the two made ingenious maneuvers against one another the Sith Champion could only help but remain enrapt by the fight. Her eyes flicked from the other audience members as a few of them reacted noticably but the woman kept her focus primarily on Karys and Cyutadakyr.

Serene was unaware of the depths the two shared a relationship. There were more Sith present that also had strong ties to the pureblood pair but Serene was ignorant of the details. Still, there was no mistaking the passion evoked from either duelist. It was important for the dark side sorceress to sample such feelings especially in present company.

It came to an end with Karys the victor and Serene satisfied. A hint of sympathy for the newly named Nevizkas was quickly overshadowed by fear and ambition. She was honored and terrified to witness Darth Tempest's example. The thing that kept most of her composure was the desire she felt to attain such power. But judging by the state of the one formerly known as Cyutadakyr, Serene had a difficult path ahead.

Serene joined the injured duelists as people began making taking their leave. Nevizkas had been injured severely but it appeared that Karys was still in some semblance of activity. It was for the best then that he grieved the part of himself he had just killed. Meanwhile, the incapacitated female pureblood and her growing child would be available for the sorceress to examine.

"Let's see what use Nothing is, shall we?" She whispered with a smile that was anything but warm. The death of Cremek had come to pass. There was an opening in the ranks of the Sith Order. The best part was Serene did not have to raise a finger.
