“Most people just call me Lou… yes that’s all… just Lou. I know that might not be enough to satisfy you but it isn’t me you’ve come here about. See… you need something. Perhaps it’s a problem at work or a problem with the law, an embarrassing situation or perhaps you just need someone, a stranger to talk to so you can work the problem out yourself. You need me. Who am I you ask? Well there again it isn’t who I am that’s important but what I can do for you. I can make that problem not a problem after all. No muss, no fuss and most importantly no questions asked. You might say I’m like a priest taking confession. What you say to me goes no further and I’m certain with the right frame of mind and devotion we can make things smooth sailing once more.”
Lou- if that is his name- is an enigma. He’s human, that much is clear but beyond that the man simply does not exist- at least as far as Republic records are concerned. He seems to have money, his demeanor and bearing speaks of breeding. He speaks with no discernable accent and is fluent in many languages. He wears properly tailored outfits suited to the locale he is encountered in. Lou is an enigma.
He stands approximately five-and-a-half-to-six feet tall and has a slender build. His blonde hair is cut short of touching his shoulders. His eyes are dark, some would say blue others would say violet. He never answers such questions except with a smile that hints at knowledge and offers none in return. One feature that does stand out is the man’s long slender hands. Most would say the hands of a surgeon or a musician.
His motives are a complete mystery. Why he accepts some jobs and turns down others seems to be based on some personal code. Most that deal with him say he has no loyalties beyond his current job but even that isn’t entirely clear.
Lou’s history is completely hidden, artfully masked and obfuscated from search or view. Like large shapes beneath still water ripples are still caused and thus while facts are a rarity concerning Lou what can be ascertained however is Lou has been well trained in many ‘black-op’ skills not the least of which involves surveillance and infiltration. He has been known to carry a slim-line light blaster pistol that has been illegally overcharged granting the weapon greater stopping power than weapons of its size but at the cost of burning through the power pack quicker. He has also been seen with a cane that he has used in impromptu combat with notable efficiency. The one time combat between him and a trained force-user (a Jedi) took place Lou used an oddly shaped staff of a metal that proved the equal of a lightsaber. The combat did not last long as Lou used the first opportunity to depart. That brief encounter did generate the one existing report on Lou that indicated he was at the very least force-sensitive and a gifted if unorthodox combatant.
If Lou has a weakness it is a preference to be the one acting rather than reacting to events. When put into an unexpected situation Lou’s first instinct is to retreat. The Unexpected in his mind is also the unplanned-for and acting without a plan is not his style.
