When she finally caught Renfry's eyes, she gave a teasing eyebrow waggle as she emphasized the reason she is not asking of her opinion. Tia couldn't help but the laugh, but it was cut short when she heard the distinct trickling of stones along the mountain side. The redheaded woman paused, the Force twisting around her as she searched for the source, unable to see anything obviously out of place. Her wispy stick held out in front as she slowly turned, knowing it wouldn't do much damage, but pretending to look scarier and more confident was 90% how to win any battle.

"I don't see anything..." she said glancing at Renfry, "Probably nothing, right?" she asked, looking for reassurance from the person who would know this world the best and would be taking them on a relaxing camping trip instead of a spontaneous camping trip that involved fighting for one's life to just camp out here. She didn't necessarily feel anything unusual, though this planet in general just felt unusual, so, nothing more unusual.

"Not like there can be any ghosts in the mountain." Tiamat laughed to herself and shook her head to the ridiculousness of such an idea, "Right?" she laughed, though a little less confidently as she felt her thoughts latching on to the possibility.

Renfry's eyes swept over the mountains, her entire posture stiffening slightly. She didn't sense anything, and she relaxed a bit moments later.

We should probably set up camp soon. It'll get dark shortly, she said, pointing up to a ledge above them.

I think that might work, she said, heading in that direction. She started climbing, paying no mind to whether or not Tia didn't want to camp next to a possibly haunted slope. Everything on Dathomir was basically haunted.

It was the nature of the planet.

You don't like Dathomir very much, do you? she asked with a chuckle as she pulled herself up over the ledge and reached down to offer a hand to Tia.

Her eyes slightly widened as Renfry pointed up the mountain side indicating where they were going to set up camp for the evening. Tiamat inhaled slowly and let out a long exhale as she watched Renfry begin to climb up. The redhead scratched her head seemingly defeated, however, something shifted in the Force around her, a static sensation and the sound of distance waves, spooking the woman. It was enough to put a bit of a fire under her step and followed shortly behind, pausing for a moment when Renfry mentioned something about her not liking Dathomir. Tiamat frowned, it was hard to disagree with that assumption.

"Its not Dathomir...I just don't like ghosts, spirits, zombies, haunted farms, haunted ships, evil dolls, and Dathomir seems to have most of them." she frowned, carefully finding her footing as she pulled herself upward. "Plus, my first visit here and meeting the foot rot queen was not a good impression of Dathomir." she let out another long sigh and took Renfry's hand to help her over the ledge for their camping spot.

She took off her pack and immediately dumped it onto the ground, revealing its contents. She noted she should have brought her workbook to make some side notes. Or her holopad...she was suddenly missing her technology. Renfry would quickly notice she seemed confused by the contents of the pack she had been carrying as she picked up a canister and shook it before setting it aside as she sorted the objects. "Is there any spot on Dathomir that isn't like...suspicious?" she asked.

Renfry started opening her pack, tossing out her small bedroll first and then some other items. She took her knife and carved several runes in the dirt and stone around them, muttering some words as they flashed for a moment and then she returned to her sitting.

Just to keep the wildlife at bay, she said with a shrug.

I'll try not to take your complaints about my planet personally, she said, shaking her head and narrowing her eyes in "offense."

Take that, and put it with that, she said, pointing to two items that Tia would be able to put together to see that it was the makings of a small lantern.

She laid back on her bedroll and simply laid there for a second, closing her eyes and taking several deep breaths. She could hear everything going on around them, the quiet, distant sounds of wildlife that always put her at peace.

You don't camp a lot do you? she asked without actually looking at Tia. You seem tense, she added, wondering if it was just the planet or something else bothering her. There would never be a more private place to discuss it.

The redhead gave a playful grin when Renfry narrowed her eyes to her comments about Dathomir; the woman was certain she would have enjoyed it more if it weren't the Eternal that seemed to taint her experience here. The one thought seemed to pull her into others, vividly recalling the nightmare she experienced while having the mask in her possession. She sat quietly in her thoughts, slowly coming back to present as Renfry directed her about some of her items. Tia frowned as she picked up the pieces as instructed and put them together; a grin returned as she recognized it as a lantern. Then she felt incredibly stupid for not realizing it sooner.

Setting it down, she found her bedroll and laid it out next to Renfry and sat on top after putting the rest of the items she didn't need back in her pack. Her eyes followed where Renfry had set the runes, trying to think of what living creatures were hiding out here. Her own senses seemed to still ring like radio static, and Renfry spoke, thinking she looked tense.

Tia's eyebrows rose, "I...don't camp." she said, giving a nervous giggle, "Unless you count dumpster sleeping...then I've done plenty of that." Tia sighed, slowly laying down to look up at the sky. "I don't even remember when I was a kid if we camped, we had a home by the ocean we'd visit. Though," she turned her head to glance at Renfry and then back at the darkening sky, "we would lay outside like this to look at the stars until the moon was in the center of the sky."

Makes cutting edge, galaxy changing teleportation engines... can't put together a lantern, she said, shaking her head and grinning. It was very obvious she was joking, and yet she couldn't help herself.

Okay, well, this is a step up from sleeping in a dumpster. I've never done that, she said, but she camped all the time. Constantly when she was younger, less often now, though. Camping on Dathomir does mean wildlife, but that's what the runes are for, she reiterated.

She listened to Tia's story and then thought back to when the two of them and Jaikus had helped rouse Emryc from his slump. It was the only gathering of its kind that they'd ever done, and she wondered if perhaps they'd all meet up again someday.

That sounds great, she said almost dreamily. Dathomir was devoid of many beaches or great oceans, but in her travels she had developed her own appreciation for great open seas.

Do you like to swim and sail? she asked. She was no peasant girl anymore and Renfry wondered if she secretly had her own yacht now that reminded her of her younger days.

It certainly was a step up from sleeping in dumpsters, someplace where she never would see herself again. Even though she was completely out of her element camping with Renfry, it was worth the unusual wildlife and the feelings of like something or someone was watching her beyond the veil. Her brow furrowed awkwardly as she thought about the "wildlife" and the types of creatures that also found their home in trash. She didn't have runes, but she did have a blaster and it was pretty effective.

She smiled as Renfry thought being on the ocean side also sounded ideal. Tiamat turned her head slightly to look at Renfry and then back at the sky, some of the fog settling in, but she could still see the stars. "I love swimming and sailing." she said.

"And diving too, I used to see what I could find on the ocean floor, scared my mom all the time with it. Dad not so much, he would encourage it behind her back." she explained, "The ocean is freezing where the beach house is, but you get used to it." the woman paused as she reminisced in her memories, watching the glimpses of her parent's faces drift through her thoughts and her younger self showing off the seashells she collected.

"I don't have a boat, but I did get the house back, years ago." she glanced to Renfry again, "Its the one place I can retreat to and feel...like I'm at home."
