Kael is a very kind and loving person. He likes to gain influence with others and gain people's trust; as he shares the same trust with them as well. He is also a friendly person; even though he gets to be a pushover sometimes. He and his best friend, Takumi Kaito, are very close together; like as brothers. They are very playful, helpful and they share stories with each other too. Not only does Kael possess friendship, but he is also very intelligent and very helpful to people. He will help people with their farms, care for those that need medical attention, defend people against predators and helps repair equipment.
Kael is known to be brave and vigilant with his surroundings. Kael has a habit of sacrificing his own life to save people; especially from predator attacks, because Dantooine has a lot of predators. Kael can be very stern at times. Sometimes he gets suspicious of people that he overhears and then he creates a plan for whatever event may occur in the future. Kael is fair to others and he is a generous and graceful person.

Kael Mitsu lives with his father, Tinto Mitsu, and with his mother, Logra Mitsu; her maiden name is Terix. Tinto served with the Republic and met Nolan Kaito during the Hutt War. Both of them served together during the war against the mercenaries and bounty hunters; which were allied with the Hutts. Tinto saw that Nolan was wounded from a concussion grenade that was thrown towards him. So he and Nolan fled to an abandoned freighter and flew over to Nar Shaddaa. Tinto took Nolan to a medical facility and remained with him until he fully recovered from his wound. Unfortunately, Tinto was taken away by a bounty hunter because the Hutts placed a bounty on Tinto's head and was taken to the Refugee Sector.
During his stay in the Refugee Sector, Tinto met a woman named: Logra Terix. Logra paid the Hutts 3,000 credits to lift the bounty off of Tinto. After paying for Tinto's bounty, they both fled the Refugee Sector and hurried to the landing pad, where they found a transport ship. After the transport ship arrived at Dantooine, they bought a home for them to settle in and then they've started to relax from the war. A month later, since they moved in, they've gotten married.
Three years later, Logra gave birth to a little boy and named him: Kael. After he turned 3 years old, Kael learned how to farm in the gardens as he watched his father do it. During that year, Kael met another young boy named: Takumi Kaito. He and Kaito started become best friends. They both have played together, they've helped each other and they loved each other too. He and Takumi became very close, as if they were lost brothers (so to speak).
By the time Kael reached 5 years of age, he learned how to repair things. He mostly fixes the terminal and helped it run better. The Mitsu family mostly use the terminal to help care for their homestead; mainly the garden. Kael uses the terminal to help keep track of the garden's needs, such as watering, giving it light, checking their temperature and other things. During the year 12,983 BBY, the homestead was suddenly attacked by a group of kath hounds. Kael picked up the plow and held it close to defend himself. One of the kath hounds charged at Kael and he quickly dodged out of the way, Kael then swung the plow and hits the kath hound in the head and killed it. Tinto used his blaster rifle and killed the other kath hounds in the group. The Kaito family were attacked also.
Kael and Takumi spent the next year training for combat and defended their homestead from other predators. Kael then felt something strange in his body. It was during a hot, sunny day and Kael suddenly felt a chill run through him. He looked around and saw nobody; except his family and Takumi. After the next morning, and as walked out to help his father gardening, Kael then suddenly felt like another attack was going to happen again, so he was on guard as he looked around and saw a few kinrath spiders attacking the Kaito family's garden. He saw Nolan come running out of the house and killed the kinrath as Nolan fell to the ground.
During the next four years, Kael and Takumi have increased their training and Kael learned how to evade attacks and was taught some melee techniques. Takumi was the only friend that Kael had that believed in him, because he told Takumi that he was having strange sensations through his body and nerves. Takumi told Kael that he had a similar experience too; except that Takumi was having strange dreams; more like visions. Kael went over to Takumi's house as both of them boys started overhearing some of the people talking. They've heard their parents and neighbors talk about the Jedi and the Republic; most likely about the war and of the conflict that's happening on Coruscant. Kael saw that Takumi was curious to know more about the Jedi. Takumi then came up with an idea of how to help the Republic, by joining the Jedi Order; which is something that Takumi read about on his father's terminal.
After a while, Kael started to think about the Jedi also and was wondering if some of the strange things that were happening to him and Takumi had something to do with them and the Force that Takumi told him a little about. Kael then started to gain a little knowledge of the Force after hearing about it from Takumi. Takumi then told Kael that in order for them to know about the Force and their experience with it is to become a Jedi and to learn from their teachings. While Kael saw Takumi prepare to leave for the Jedi Academy on Tython, Kael then started to think about joining the Order and thought through it carefully and wondered if the Jedi could be of some help for him. After Takumi left the planet Dantooine in a transport ship, Kael went back home and then resumed gardening while giving himself some time to think about his future.
