Cnile grinned, watching the city lights flash by. The planet had changed so much in the past sixteen millennia. Granted, that should have been a given, but despite that she'd been apprehensive when she'd be assigned to the Coruscant temple. However, soon after arriving, she'd left the temple for a run. Now several months later, she'd taken to running as a form of meditation. Twirling between the cities spires and catwalks, she felt more in tune with the Force than kneeling next to a fountain any day.

Focusing the Force around herself, she leapt off of the catwalk she'd been running across one of the more narrow skyways on Coruscant, dropping onto the Jedi Temple's landing platform, tucking into a roll as she did. Popping up to her feet, she took a deep breath, wiping a strand of hair from her eyes. She started towards the temple, her grin slowly fading to an expression of thoughtfulness.

She'd needed that run today more than she had since she had faced her trials. She was meeting her first Padawan today. The council had been on her for a while about it, and she had known she could only dodge the issue for so long. Still, it wasn't all bad. She'd read the boy's file, he was bright, and had come to the Order late, much like herself.

She half chuckled, staring at the towering statues guarding the temple's entrance. If she was nervous, her Padawan must be doubly so, barely in his teens and on a brand new world. She nodded to the honor guards at the temple entrance, turning towards the Padawan's dormitories. Indeed this was going to be something new, but deep down she was looking forward too.

Now... to find my Padawan.” she murmured, expanding her force awareness as she searched halls for the young Corellian boy.

Kaito had been here for only a couple days, the first two spent trying to find his way around the giant cityscape into the Jedi temple. The next few were used to debate whether he be allowed to train at such an old age. Coupled with his emotion problem, it had been a close call, but they had in the end decided to allow him to train under a Jedi Knight. He had spent that last day walking the hallways of the Jedi temple. Familiarizing himself with the layout of the temple. He didn't enjoy the feeling of not knowing where everything was, especially if he was going to live here a while.

He hadn't met anyone interesting amongst the other padawans in his dorm, nor did many of them seem to like him too much. Many of them had been here their whole lives, and had been training hard for the day that they could become a padawan, and be able to train under a Master. So they probably didn't like how he was started where they worked so hard to get. Still, that was their problem, not his.

He wore his father's old robes as he walked down the halls of the Jedi Temple. It was a little too big on him, his hands hidden in the sleeves. Although he preferred it that way, he had stitched pockets into the sleeves, so he could hide anything he stole, and more recently a place to holster his lightsabers. He was due to meet his new Mentor, but as of yet, he had no way of finding her. He had to admit he was extremely nervous about meeting his Master, he had a problem with authority figures. It was mostly the way they went around flaunting their authority, and it annoyed him to no end.

Having done his share of aimless wandering he decided to wait in the Padawan Dormitories for his Master. He'd just about made it back when he felt, something. He stopped and looked around, it felt like someone was reaching out. It was a very faint feeling at best, but it was something. it was at best a faint echo in his mind, far away. He tried to focus on it, but to no avail. He stood in the middle of the hall clumsily trying to reach out.

Cnile smiled as she felt a presence stretch out towards her probing, quickly backtracking it to a boy standing the middle of a busy hall. She was surprised he sensed her, she'd been taken totally off guard when her master found her. She chuckled, thinking back to when her mastered had posed as a Bogan to test her. As she finally caught sight of him, he leaned against doorway a hundred meters or so behind him. He was definitely nervous, she could tell that much, and there were a few things that they would need to work through floating about his mind too.

She reached out once more, focusing on him, wondering if the same cooling sensation was enveloping his mind as hers was when her master first contacted her. “Very good, Kaito Oran. I'm surprised you noticed my searching.” she paused, letting the telepathic message bounce about his head for a few moments as she watched for a reaction. “I am Cnile Mengele, the Jedi Knight who was sent to train you.

She smirked, watching him a few moments more before sending another, “How about we begin in earnest? You seem to have an affinity for sensing people. I am somewhere in this hall. I want you to find me. Instead of grasping outwards, let your awareness expand naturally. Let the Force guide who and how you search within it.” she smiled, letting the instructions settle before offering one final bit of advice, “Do not think, feel.
