1) History: The Kaleesh have always been strong, powerful, and great warriors. There is only 1 great tribe: the Lig. This tribe made and named the Lig sword. The Kaleesh have tried to destroy the Yam'rii, another race from a different planet known to the Kaleesh as Huks. They also had another threat: the Bitthaevrians. These were another warlike race who were trying to conquer the Kaleesh. There were many battles with this other race. For those battles, the Kaleesh developed the Lig sword, an inexspensive, powerful weapon. Before then, they only used spears. Not too long later, a small group of pirates led by Rennek Dymos tried to invade. They were stopped but Rennek and about 20-35 other men escaped. The Kaleesh lost alot of its army from that but adopted the Czerka Outlander rifle. The former leader, Bentilais jai Ronderu, died from this invasion which left his son, Abesmi lij Ronderu to lead. He has further developed the government and leads it greatly.
2) Beliefs: The Kaleesh believe that with their guerilla warfare, they are unstoppable. This may not be the case, though the Kaleesh have only lost a total of 1,866 soldiers.
