"Where's the exit? Where's the exit?"

"I think the hangar's through here!"

The second man, Mi'l Druuk, busted the door lock with the butt of his rifle, there was a burst of static and the door flew open. Before them stood another long passage.

"More hallways?! This is bulls***! We must have missed the turn! We've got to go back!"

"We can't go back! There may be more of them back there! We have to move on!"

"Screw that! I'm going back!"

"No, wait!"

But it was too late, his companion had disappeared around a corner and the last he heard of him was a blood-curdling scream that was cut short, only to be replaced by the snarling of some strange beasts.

"Damn!"

With the enemy at his back, the man had no choice but to run forward down the passage. "How could this have gone so wrong?" he kept asking himself. He thought back to how the nightmare began...

It had just been another routine patrol aboard the Republic frigate Donder with himself and seven other crew members. They were patrolling a region of space bordering Hutt territory when their scanners picked up the reading of a massive vessel approaching. As they tried to contact it, all of their systems suddenly went offline. The ship gave a shudder and the crew soon realized they were being pulled towards the unknown ship.
Not knowing what was to happen next, they grabbed their weapons and armor and stood poised at the airlock, ready to retaliate should there be a boarding attempt. The ship gave a lurch and they realized it must have landed, but where it landed they knew not. They tensed as they aimed their weapons at the door, but after ten minutes nothing happened.

The captain, a man by the name of Mi'l Druuk, ordered one of the crew to go to the viewport to see what was to be seen. The man came back and reported that they had indeed landed in a rather large hangar, but there was no one to be seen anywhere near the ship. With that Druuk set the two engineers to work trying to get the ships systems back online as himself and the remainder attempted to open the door that would take them out into the hangar.

They managed to force it open and Druuk and the five who were to accompany him jumped down (as the ramp wasn't working) into the mysterious ship. They started by securing the area and Druuk was quite certain they were alone in the hangar, though he was equally certain they were being watched, nobody rakes in a ship and then just forgets about it.
They were distraught to find that the hangar doors had been sealed, and no one in the crew had the technical knowledge to hack them open without being sucked out. With nothing else for it, Druuk and his men endeavored to seek out somebody and find the meaning behind all this. They pressed on into the depths of the mysterious vessel...

However, all they found was a seemingly endless chain of hallways, with innumerable locked doors all along them. Not wanting to stray and get lost, Druuk kept everyone going forward until they came to the largest door they had yet seen. As they walked up to it it opened and, cautiously and with weapons ready, they entered the room. It took them a while to adjust to the lack of light in the room, the rest of the ship was dim, put this place was pitch black. They suddenly wished they had brought along their flashlights. They split up and walked around the dark room, which appeared to be very large, and with seemingly nothing in it. As Druuk walked forward, one of his crew cried out before being cut off. He reeled around, and the next minute the squad was huddled around the bloody corpse of one of their own.

It didn't take Jedi senses to realize they weren't on a friendly ship, and Druuk had the squad form a tight circular formation. But it was useless, they couldn't see anything. They started towards the wall to see if they could find a light switch so as to see, when suddenly the man right next to Druuk fell to the floor and was dragged into the darkness, screaming all the way, only to have his scream cut short like the other. Then one of the squad nearest the wall exclaimed that he had found a switch, and flicked it. The lights blared to life to illuminate a large, empty room, with nothing in it but some kind of throne on the far end, and, standing in the middle, a man...

But this was no ordinary man, standing at what Druuk perceived to be around seven feet in height, he held the lifeless form of one of the squad completely suspended from the end of a very large blade, in his other hand he held another blade, equally as large, and equally as bloody. His back was to them and he wore a long, black cloak with the hood pulled up. He slowly turned around to reveal, not a face, but a helmet, or mask of some sort, with the appearance of a skull with a maniacal smile and sharp teeth.

"Yo."

His sudden exclamation made the entire squad jump. He dropped the body of the crewmember and walked over to the throne, where he seated himself and set aside the two blades. He then layed his arms on the rests and peered at the group.

:What's up?"

Druuk could hardly believe his ears, was this man trying to make small talk?
He shook his head and shouted at the assailant, demanding to know why he had captured and attacked them. To this the cloaked man simply laughed before pressing a button on the arm rest of his throne. Immediately, two doors that at first appeared to be part of the wall, slid open, and from within came several... Druuk did not know what they were, other than that there were many, and they were snarling. Druuk knew there was nothing to gain and everything to lose from remaining there, and he ordered the remaining three to retreat. They fled out of the room and into the halls, the shrieking beasts in pursuit. Firing back randomly, Druuk didn't know if he was hitting any, but was determined to slow them down. A powerful blow hit him from behind and he was toppled over, one of the beasts got right on top of him. One of his allies called out and ran to his aid, only to be cut down by another beast and have his throat ripped out. Druuk managed to kick the animal off himself and staggered up, he spread a hail of bullets in all directions, making sure not to hit his companions. It seemed to do the trick as he was soon running once more along the passage, directly behind the remaining squad. He tried to contact the engineers aboard theDonder, but there was no response. They could do nothing but run.

They raced down the halls and through a door, only to stop and look back as one of Druuk's squad stopped to fidget with the door controls. Druuk shouted at him to move, but the man was determined to seal the door and the closing beasts behind it. He was operating the controls from the hallway the beasts were in, as Druuk and the other crewmate stood in another. Druuk was about to forcefully stop him when the man suddenly pounded the controls and the door slid shut, sealing himself and the beasts on the other side. Druuk wanted to save him, but knew it was useless, and instead silently thanked the brave man for sacrificing himself to save his friends. Now there was only himself and one other squad member. Thinking they were relatively safer they had slowed their pace, only to hear a loud crash in the distance behind them and they knew the beasts had gotten through the door.

With the enemy at his back, Druuk had no choice but to run forward down the passage.

It proved to be the correct one, and Druuk emerged into the hangar, but there was no ship. No sign of the Donder anywhere. He collapsed to his knees as it dawned on him that all was lost. He was trapped. Behind him the beasts suddenly stopped shrieking, but he didn't care, something else would come along and finish him off. And he was right. A tall shadow suddenly loomed over him as Druuk stared down at his trembling hands. He decided not to look upon his executioner, for fear he would lose all sense before the end. He instead thought of his family back home, and his hands calmed a bit. The shadow moved, there was a flash of steel, and it was over.
