Keira was born in a lap of luxury the daughter of Emperor Drast. The Drast name has been powerful for centuries, so whether through politics or some other avenue, they would always be wealthy. She had little interest in politics and she was certainly not going to go into the military like her brother. She was schooled in the best and can speak multiple languages, but she pursued fashion design and focuses on a budding empire selling products such as perfumes, handbags and shoes. Her brand Keira Drast has been doing rather well, with the signature KD logo associated with designer handbags that sell for obscene prices.
She is a socialite and is known to throw and attend lavish parties and rub elbows with some of the most prominent names in the galaxy.
