Keira was born to a soldier and his wife, who was a homemaker. Her father died in combat when she was only six, and she was raised in near poverty by her mother. Without any real marketable skills, her mother had to work odd jobs here and there to make ends meet, the governments on Tirahnn unforgiving to those that weren’t well off.
Her mother opened a small jewelry stall in the bazaars that hosted countless offworlders. This allowed a tiny income, though the heavy taxing meant Keira and her mother were always in poverty. As Keira grew, she could only go to a local school for low income area children. While she didn’t receive the best education had to offer, she showed a high aptitude in academics from early on. She excelled in her classes, and early on she showed a keen interest in policies and politics. She wanted very much to change how her planet treated the impoverished, and that was the singular goal that propelled her towards excelling in education.
Her efforts got her accepted into the prestigious University of Coruscant at the young age of sixteen, and she had already become an apprentice legislator. She worked to network and land internships in executive settings, rubbing elbows with powerful Drasts and other political officials. Though she shared no love for Imperials or the Sith, she knew they were critical in helping her gain a foothold in the political landscape.
By the time she was eighteen, she began to strongly campaign for becoming a senator. Her stance on empowering the general public was well received beyond anything anyone could have hoped for. In a huge upset, she beat out the incumbent by a landslide. Her positive and inspiring personality allowed her to excel in the role. Though she was happy in her role, she soon set her sights on becoming a representative in the United Protectorate.

Keira has a bubbly and very positive personality. Her smile can light up a room, and she is a huge advocate for the less fortunate. She inspires those around her with her perseverance and determination. Her giddy nature is not to be confused with naïveté, as she is sharp and very well versed in diplomacy.
