Kel'th Torr is described as misjudged merely because of his race and face. While his race depicts that he is to be a cut-throat willing to kill for a payment, his face depicts that he is always grumpy or never satisfied, both of these depictions are untrue.

Calm: It is not very often that he loses his temper, his patience and will allow for him to feel comfortable no matter where he is and, because of his faith in the force he is always able to make rational decisions.

Whimsical: His sense of humour is something he takes pride in, often resorting to it when situations seem grim not just for himself, but others. He believes that if the universe would laugh and smile more, take fewer things seriously and make life entertaining, ultimately it will be more fulfilling.

Loyal: His faith in the force knows no bounds, his faith in the order is almost just as hard to shake. Once befriended, even for a moment he will develop a caring need to help those who have done right by him.

Daring: There are times when even Kel'th will break the rules given to him. Whether it be feigning ignorance, using vague false positive words so as to hide the truth, using intimidation and threats to those who respond to it and of course, standing up to those be they friend or foe when they are committing a wrong.

Considerate: You'll find that almost everything that Kel'th Torr does is for someone or something, else. He hunches himself down from his 8 ft of height to 6ft 2 inches to make it easier for people to talk to him. His race with their rather large mouths and short tongues usually speak a different language, as such, he slows down his speech in order to be understood. He takes on the role of a diplomat in order to steer politics towards protecting and improving lives, for this reason, he is perfect as a public speaker.

Caring: Kel'th Torr has been sometimes referred to as the young mentor, protector or saviour. These words carry truth, Kel'th Torr has always valued life above everything and if within his power to a life, he will try to save it. If someone has fully gone to the dark side, while he has no qualms about injuring or detaining them in any way, even then he likely won't take their lives unless absolutely necessary. It is for this reason that he stays in diplomacy most of the time, to avoid situations where his sparing a life will cause more problems.

BIOGRAPHY

Most of the Amani species are born on Maridun and are skilled headhunters who curl themselves up into balls and can travel locomotive at high speeds in order chase down their prey. They are frowned upon in most civil societies and sought out by those with nefarious means, Kel'th Torr's parent was not an exception to this rule. While the circumstances of how Kel'th Torr came to be is not well known, the best explanation is that the Amanin reproduces through fragmentation, meaning that severed body parts have a chance of becoming Amani children but this at the time was speculation.

The headhunters that were hired travelled to the planet Takodana with ripe forests and fertile soil. Having heard that Padawans were being trained there they were planning an attack to dwindle the Jedi's forces before they had a chance to grow. It's true the Amanin were a sentient species but, they were very primitive in their methods and didn't take into account that Jedi were very perceptive. Instead of facing off against padawans or weaker foes the Amanin having attacked a Jedi expeditionary group were nearly wiped out in a single counter attack. The few that survived were pursued, one was wounded greatly and had made great distance before its stamina was completely depleted. Having been left behind this Amani was tracked down by a pair of Jedi Knights who in their engagement learned this Amani could push others over without touching them, a mere movement of its palm. It must have thought it had magic powers instead of being force sensitive but, in doing this just made itself a target. So as to not allow it to fall to the dark side the two Jedi knights tracked it down only to find that it had succumbed to its wounds and passed in the forest.

While the Amanin race's healing was quite good it takes time and the constant motion that the Amani had gone through during locomotion had caused it to suffer massive blood loss. The Jedi were none too pleased that the Amani had passed so easily but, in the presence of a smaller being they were cautious. There was a child, small and fragile, much more than a newborn and very quiet, eyes that remained closed but a life that started anew.

One of the Jedi wrapped the infant Amani up in her cloak and told the other Jedi to run ahead and inform the masters that she was coming and upon arrival, a meeting was held. In the meeting, many spoke up against teaching a poisonous and carnivorous creature the way of the force, given the war many agreed that they didn't want to have an Amani Dark Jedi. One Jedi master spoke out for the Amani, saying that the force itself allowed the child to live and it just happened to be the child of a creature that could use the force. He argued that it was likely a force sensitive and that if you add up all the coincidences there was nothing to talk about.

Kel'th Torr was taken in as a padawan because of the sheer unlikeliness of his circumstance. He was orphaned, force sensitive having been saved by Jedi that was part of a teaching expedition for padawans, it was almost an intention.

Kel'th Torr grew up well on the life rich planet, the homeworld of Maridun had grass plains and long desserts while Takodana was lush in all life. It was obvious that Kel'th Torr was going to be very large at the rate that he was growing. It became quite clear that, while not rolling he was quite slow moving but it allowed him to better understand his place. Kel'th Torr was never quite equipped physically to go 'on the attack' like most of his race because of his sensibilities. Rather than aggressive combat Kel'th excelled in defensive lightsaber forms and the force. His large arms and size but lack of movement during combat made him more conscious of his surroundings in training.

The forms he learned were Shi Cho, Soresu, Shien and Djem So. His primary focus was Soresu and Shien however and those are the two that he has poured most of his time into. Kel'th Torr was a good learner, the patience and calm mind he adopted from the Jedi have assisted him in this, language, philosophy, science, politics and even supplementary classes such as communication and psychology. The study he threw himself into the most though, on all levels was, of course, the force. There was many a day he would merely meditate to be closer to it.

After his time as a padawan and now finally a Jedi Knight, he spends most of his time in diplomacy and politics as a spokesman, ambassador or similar roles. During some of the wars and battles, he has played a key role in maintaining relations with allies, brokering deals and arranging key-help, reinforcements and supplies for those in need. That is not to say that he never battles though, when constructing his own lightsaber he took into account that he was a shield for life and that he would not be able to close distance quickly. The lightsaber he built was designed for his size, a light blade of two meters is emitted from it.

Physicalities

Poisonous Skin: Kel'th Torr himself isn't too happy with the fact that his body naturally secrets a poison over his body in the form of slime, most often the case he will wash this off and cover himself in a substitute gel that he gets himself to stop it from secreting.

Slow body: His legs are small and stumpy and with his large frame causes him to walk slower than normal. His large arms though they boast great strength and even with constant training they do not move as quickly as most of the smaller races, thus he resorts to short movements to rectify this.

Locomotive Travel: When rolling despite having little ability to see where he is going, Kel'th Torr is quite fast in closing distances but, in this form of motion he cannot attack typically.

Great strength: His will, arms and connection with the force are all stronger than average. Able to perform such great feats because of this.

Fragile but Flexible: His body is close to that of a slug or plant resulting in his bones being quite thin and flexible, allowing for his arms and body to bend for a great range of motion. This leaves his body fragile and as such he isn't very enduring, naturally soft skin causes blades and blunt trauma to cause significant damage.

Regeneration: The Amani in place of their poor endurance have adopted a strong healing ability. In the right circumstances, an Amani can grow back entire limbs over the course of months but it requires that it be in the correct conditions. If not, the chance that it can grow back will likely be lost is high.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Jedi Consular: He has been trained in such a way that he could only be seen as a Jedi consular, placing the well being of others before himself.

Advanced Education: Kel'th Torr has spent extra time in study and learning in order to achieve a higher level of education.


Defensive Saber styles: Kel'th Torr boasts a mastery of Soresu, advanced training in Shien with fundamental training in both Djem So and Shi Cho.

Language and Communication: Kel'th Torr can understand a variety of languages including droids and common interplanetary species as well as some customs of those species. His studies in communication have allowed him to stop battles before they have started.

Force Telekinesis: One of four force abilities that Kel'th Torr deemed this one the most important for him to learn and results in this being his 1st in the level of his ability.

Force Sense: This made the most sense to Kel'th Torr because of his slow movement and locomotive travel, being able to sense his surroundings, possible attacks or presence would be ideal for him. This ability ranks 3rd in his force skills.

Force Healing: Whether healing himself or another he knows that healing is the ultimate way to preserve life. While he wished that this ability would be his greatest asset it comes in last because he doesn't find a lot of time to heal others. While he has at times practiced this ability in different medical areas he cannot say it is his most developed ability.

Jedi Mind Trick: Ranked 2nd in power to his small amount of abilities, he considers this his most utilized gift from the force as it helps him in diplomacy more than anything. When in negotiations or meetings it does help if certain weak or unsuspecting minds are tilted in the direction of good to help life.

Large Brown Cloak: A large cloak similar to most Jedi Cloaks in order to conceal his body and his actual height.

Light-padded custom clothing: As an Amani, he has fragile skin and as such wears a special padded clothing to keep his skin moist and protect it from most blunt attacks.

Custom Green Lightsaber: This lightsaber he made is specialized for him having made an extended hilt and added in a few extra components. This results in his lightsaber being twice the length of a normal one, 2 meters in blade length.
